Great atmosphere. You can go up on the second floor and enjoy your coffee on their super-duper patio. They have food and lots of books. If you need to get some work done and meet some cool and hip people this place is your calling

Great place to eat and have a good time among books. Nice service, food is delicious. We enjoyed our lunch and environmental of the books and even a beer with Julio Cortázar! Very recommended.

This is a very nice spot for a drink, coffee, or working.

I have been here a few times and it’s always very calm and quiet.

The prices are a little bit on the higher side but the service is good, I’ve never had food here only drinks, everything I have tried has been good so far.

Great selection of books, including many in English, and the staff are very nice. But they're still requiring masks in the year of our Lord 2022, unless you are seated at the cafe (in the same room).

In A Nutshell:

-Cafebreria El Pendulo is a cute bookstore/cafe in La Condesa.
-This two-level, corner building has selection of books, plenty of seating places to work, chat or enjoy a cup of coffee.
-There are also small gifts to purchase, which are unique.
-I like the open layout, there is also plenty of natural light that makes it easy to focus.

Overall, this is a cool bookstore/cafe in the La Condesa neighborhood.

A very beautiful bookstore / coffeeshop. They do foods u0026 drinks too. Calming literary atmosphere. Really enjoyed my time spent there. Worth a look. Small English language section, but the vibes / cardboard cutouts of writers are amazing.
