This is my final review of this location in specific and Starbucks in general.
I really want to like this location in that it is the closest Starbucks to my Airbnd. But the place has once again become a breeding ground for biting insects, making it a rather uncomfortable place to linger for more than a moment.
I originally placed the blame on the location's management, but I am starting to wonder whether the fault would be better placed upon regional management.
This location seems to suffer from constant problems with the air conditioning as I eluded to in my earlier reviews. And I am starting to believe that the real issue stems from the inability of the regional manager to offer or allocate logistical support.
My company owned a liquor store at one point and we never allowed problems to lingers for more than a few hours. We obviously had far fewer resources at hand than a corporate giant such as Starbucks. But this location seems to suffer from consistent mechanical issues and/or poor decision making.
The other Starbuck location I frequent are located inside of Malls. So, I honestly don't know if they are the beneficiaries of better tangential support operations. But this location has now been without air-conditioning for more than a day at the point this review will post.
I honestly don't know why it would take a corporate giant that long to resolve such a simple problem and or why it has become a reoccurring issue. I also wonder whether other stand-alone locations suffer from similar problems.
I imagine that the location still does rather well in terms of sales. But I would be asking whether the location could do even better under a different regional manager if I was a member of the corporate team. These type of problems simply boil down to resource allocation and due diligence after all.
Perhaps someone has just become too complicit? I honestly don't know. But I do know that companies rarely grow unless they strive for improvement.
