Our best coffee shop in Merida. The ambience is great, the staff super friendly and the food was excellent. Strong recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee u0026 breakfast spot. Come early right when they open so you can have the best tables on the second floor. The owner is so nice!

Cute cafe with delicious baked goods! A special treat in Merida if you’re looking for something along the lines of non-traditional Mexican cuisine.

I had the eggs Benedict which was done with its own flair. On a thick piece of fresh bread, avocado and 2 poached eggs with a lighter take on hollandaise sauce accompanied by a side salad. Now, I love eggs Benedict but usually I need a nap after. Because the sauce isn’t as heavy, you don’t get that same feeling.

We also had a cinnamon roll to share. This was definitely the star of the show. It’s made with a croissant dough so it’s very flaky and utterly delicious. The cinnamon filling was so tasty too!

My husband said it was the best coffee in Mexico he’s had, though he hasn’t really found a place here that he’s liked so this was a treat for him. I got the Golden Milk which they make warm. They were kind enough to make it chilled for me which they warned would make it taste off. Fair enough it did but I appreciate them being so accommodating.

The decor is very nice. There’s a fantastic courtyard in the back with very few tables so you’ll be lucky if timing is on your side.

There was a big line out front. Be prepared to wait. There was a waitress that came and took your names… but the line got about 15 people deep so I went in and asked if they could take our names / give us an update as to when we would be seated as we could see some empty tables from the outside. Not a big deal for us but just be aware this may be an issue. It’s a very popular so it was perfectly understandable.

Once we sat down, the staff was very attentive and the food came out quickly. It’s definitely a place you sit and have a chat with your dining guests as it’s just a beautiful spot!

Prices are more expensive than other places around but the food is also very different, and the decor, quality, etc.

Worth it and we will be back.

My first visit and I loved it. The best french toast I think I've ever had! Good iced latte and wonderful bread. I'll definitely return!
Edit to add: I now come here often. The eggs benedict, Pizza and quiche are nice.. but the French toast is still the best!

Best bread u0026 pastry (croissants, sourdough, etc) and brunch in the area. The restaurant is hidden inside the alley so walk a little bit more when you get to the cross street (C° 43x58). Also, come early to get a table, or add your name on the waiting list because a lot of people come to dine in. Alternatively, you can place a take out order if you don't want to wait. Amazing experience and friendly staff.

Exceptional location to later take a stroll off Paseo de Montejo. The architecture, design and space is beautiful, relaxing and calming. The masa madre bread is the best to enjoy overlooking the garden or take home and enjoy during the week. My favorite is the cinnamon roll with a cappuccino. Love the service and the attention. Lo mejor.

Incredible bakery and cafe! Friendly service and beautiful decor. Just wish it opened earlier so I could have stopped by more before early morning road trips and adventures.
