Certainly an older place, but fun for what it was. Kind of like opening an old encyclopedia. Things are old and worn, but in a neat way. I understand that museums are always underfunded, but there was still some things of value to look at.

Don’t come if your expectations are high for a free location. Come if you are open to seeing an older museum with some dated information. Definitely come if you have fond memories of when Pluto was a plant!

Basi and tiny but nice, needs help to remodel and upgrade

Quaint little place. We found it on a whim - it took about 5 minutes to see everything. Dim lighting in everything, definitely for kids, all the graphics used and props looked about 20 years old. Not in same ballpark as other Mexican museums but it’s free.

This is a small museum. It's very good to learn about various topics of general culture. The only thing that is needed is a little maintenance, lighting and air conditioning

It's a nice house

(Translated by Google) Next to the centennial zoo you can enjoy the exhibition of the solar system, the animal and terrestrial eras, the evolution and nature and fauna of Yucatan. The tour takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes. It is a clean place, but hot, the ventilation system is not working.

(Translated by Google) It is small but for a long time I have been visiting it with my children, before they did not allow taking photos until now they told us that it is possible, which I liked a lot because it remains as a souvenir of the visit to the place, I think they should shed more light to some areas, like where the rock and bone exhibit is, and where the animal paintings are on display, but outside of that very well
