We had a excellent stay at this hotel. The firm beds and plump pillows were super comfortable, the room pretty and perfectly clean, and the hotel's location ideal for exploring the city's historical core. Bonus a most pleasant poil to cool off in after a hot day on the streets. Also quiet air conditioning, a powerful ceiling fan and cable tv also add to the confort of the experience.

For finicky travellers, I'll note that the room had no phone nor clock, also as is typical in mexican hotels, no wash cloths, and finally that boththe hot and cold waters ran lukewarm, which was just fine given the high heat we'd be in all day.

We noted that in other reviews some guests complained of the late night music from the club next door. In our experience this was not an issue at all as the quiet hum of the air conditioning combined with the sound of the fan created enough "white noise" to muffle the music pretty much entirely.

We'd stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel has a good position and the room are ok. The structure has also a swimming pool. The check in was a little slow. The result is good.

The hotel in general, rooms and atmosphere are all pleasant. However, we stayed here on a Saturday night and door there is a restaurant/bar where live music played until 2am. It was very loud and hard to sleep, even with ear plugs.
Although other reviews say the place is infested with cockroaches and bed bugs, we didn’t see or experience either. I checked the bed for bed bug damage - none to be found.
We moved to a different hotel (primarily because we wanted a place with a kitchen) so I don’t know if the live music is every night or just on Saturday nights.
The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice - good water pressure and heat.

Nice little hotel with a pool and helpful staff.
The price is fair and the rooms are clean. Shower isn’t good, and in a hot place like Mérida, you need a good shower.

If you suffer from insomnia that’s the place to stay for you. Otherwise, avoid at all costs!

The hotel is just next to the bar with a live music that starts playing at 22pm… and it’s very very loud. I regret we stayed here.

They run the hot water between 7-11 am. After 11 am there is no hot water. It is 3 pm and my room has not been cleaned.

We stayed in casa San Juan for a week. Staff are super nice and friendly and helpful , very well located and room are clean and equipped
