Staff was great and friendly, but I also tip extremely well.
No Ice maker on premise. Our helper went and bought a cooler and ice from a store next door for our cocktails. Room was clean and quiet. Restaurant on premise was closed due to COVID-19 I guess. The AC did not blow cold, period, needed Freon to the best of my knowledge. My wife and I burnt up and could could not sleep, the outside temp was 101F. We were only there for a day to catch the departing flight back to the USA. Great price, great service and location to downtown. Just double check your AC unit. ✌????

I paid 35 dollar per night , they even perfunctory customers with ragged towels. And the hotel facilities are very old and outdated, it looks dirty, sleep is not stable, and the dark shadows fly in front of you when you close your eyes, scaring people to death!

Can't beat this place for the price-point and location. Lovely clean quiet place with friendly diligent staff. I came here feeling ill and left in perfect condition. The restaurant and bar are closed but nobody complains if you bring in your own food and drink. There's a cool garden by the pool with some massive palm trees that make spooky creaking sounds when it's windy.

It was just "ok"
They advertised complimentary breakfast- it wasn't.
Front desk staff were not hospitable. Could use a bit of training in welcoming guest at check-in.

The room we had was on the main floor, so we woke up at around 5.30 because the employees there walked often in front of our door and window which woke us up.
Room was fine!
We could leave our bags there during the day as we took the night bus to Palenque.

No faucet water pressure, shower head spray water everywhere and rusted bathroom fixtures.
Closet drawers hard to open and close.
