We stayed here the 21st through the 27th of October, it was nice, peaceful and treated like family. The staff is very professional u0026 friendly and can help you with anything you need. A special thanks to Connie and Mario for always having time to help u0026 answer questions. My wife got bit by an insect the day before we arrived I asked Mario where I should take her u0026 he told me they had a doctor that would come to the hotel. He called the doctor and in less than 30 minutes, tended her and prescribed u0026 gave medication included in the consultation. Okay so the 27th was my birthday u0026 my wife told the staff she wanted to have a surprise party for me, while we were out on a tour they picked up a carrot cake u0026 candles and set up the dining area, when we got back and took a break, my wife said she needed something and went to the front desk, they invited 3 guests from the hotel and the staff, she came and got me it was one of my most memorable birthdays ever. If you’re interested in any tours see Mario you will be well taken care of. When We go back to Merida this is where we will stay.
Thanks to everyone at Hotel Del Peregrino for going above and beyond. The Rice Family

This beautiful Mexican style hotel was the perfect home base for our adventures in Merida!! Mario, Daniel, Brandon and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful. We loved the small, cozy feel, opposed to a big chain hotel. It's easily within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and the main square. Having a different (authentic) breakfast each morning was a fantastic way to get to try some of the local food (it's not at all spicy!). The cleaning staff keeps the whole place spotless and we loved returning to our room each afternoon to see what new towel creation they had created. Any of the front desk staff know enough English to be able to help with whatever we needed, including booking tours, calling taxis, giving directions, restaurant recommendations, shuttle arrangements, etc. Our flight home left later in the evening and they were happy to keep our bags at the hotel while we continued to explore the city. They even had an option for us to shower before we went to the airport. I really can't say enough...we would definitely recommend this hotel and hope we can return someday!!!

For a traveler seeking a clean, efficient room, nicely accommodated - this is your place. The combination of price and location made me rate it five star. A delicious free breakfast, helpful staff and comfortable rooms make this hotel a great choice. I signed up for one night, but stayed for four. Hard to find (I drove in at night) and didn't know Merida - my mistake. Within walking distance to a plethora of good restaurants and parks.

Great place to stay at an affordable price. Near to old town Merida and Paseo Del Montejo. The staff is very helpful. Fernando gave us great tips and helped us to book tours to Cenotes and around town. Highly recommended.

Wonderful hotel with A++++ excellent staff that truly care about their guests. We had a lovely time u0026 highly recommend! Cute rooms + LOVED the towel animals each day!! We stayed up on the second floor u0026 the room was a great location for us. It was a easy walk up to the charming little roof bar area to enjoy a drink u0026 a cigarette with out disturbing any non smokers. The breakfast each morning was a very delicious bonus. I was just looking around the web dreaming of our next trip to Merida when I saw our Hotel del Peregrino and it brought back such great memories from our first trip to Merida spring of 2017. I looked and looked for my feedback but I must have forgotten to leave any on google as I don't see my name. I know i left my great review on Trip Adviser. Anyway my husband Lewis + I enjoyed our stay here and would def want to stay here again. It was located in a very safe + centralized location for walking about town. Seemed quiet to me. No crazy traffic or buses roaring by u0026 best of all - safe. We walked everywhere day + night both and never once felt nervous. The price was very reasonable + the accommodations were nice. Our room was very clean u0026 comfortable. Was it a 5 star resort??? NO but its not claiming to be. We wanted to experience authentic Merida and this place was perfect for our adventure. We spent all our time out exploring. The room was a perfect home base for sleeping and showering etc etc. Only 1 little complaint from me - well more of a wish i suppose. Softer beds. But that's just me - my husband loved the firm mattress... I prefer a bit more fluffiness for snoozing. However honestly, after a few days - I was so tired from the miles and miles of walking and touring + exploring that I didn't even notice the firm mattress anymore ! Ha ha ha
A million thanks for a great experience! Hopefully we will be back soon.
