Do not stay here!! We booked for 10 days and had issues right from the start. We left after staying only 2 nights. Broken toilet, broken fan, no wifi, no hot water, absolutely terrible “breakfast” that’s included that you actually have to pay for a laughable upgrade. Worst hotel experience in Merida by far!

The hotel isn't as pictured on their web page. We booked two rooms and the AC didn't work in neither of them. The doors had holes and cracks in them so that the warm air from the outside leaked into the rooms. The pool was really dirty and the bathroom window couldn't be closed. The list can go on. The staff was nice though, and the hotel isn't horrible it's just not as advertised!

Staff super friendly and helpful. Great price and downtown location. Comfortable bed. Cute small pool, felt more like a big square Jacuzzi.
2 story hotel, no elevator. They have small parking lot, so if you're not there early you will have to park on the street or pay for a parking garage.

Junior suite is very nice. You have a tiny private pool and the bed is very comfortable. Friendly staff, helpful and kind. Breakfast is a little poor. The location is just a few walking minutes away from the city center.

Extremly disappointed! The hotel is filled with coacroaches! Got one on my first night, got changed of rooms to find another one inside my luggage. Staff members did not know how to handle this problem besides they know nothing about tours around the Yucatan Pennsinsula. They asked me to investigate on my own. Breakfast is extremely low quality and terrible service. There is no such thing as a pool at this hotel it is a small place to splash around. There is no parking service (you have to walk two blocks to another hotel to leave your car) . Kitchen, reception and bathrooms are very dirty.

My wife and I recently spent our honeymoon in Merida and stayed at the Koox Art 57 and I'll start by saying our entire stay was perfect. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful (they even helped me order a surprise birthday cake and flowers for my wife's birthday!), the hotel was extremely quiet and clean and was located mere minutes walk from central Merida. Considering the central location near busy streets, I was actually quite surprised how quiet our sleeps were. Our private junior suite had the best little personal pool and hammock (which we utilized daily) and the daily breakfast of fruit, yogurt, toast and coffee was the perfect start to our daily adventures.

Thank you so much to all the staff at Koox Art 57 (especially Jessica), we couldn't have asked for a better hotel!
