Great location, great rooftop and pool! This is a budget hotel: there were spots on the linens, the AC was loud, and the beds were a bit hard. However, for the price, the location is incredible - minutes walk to all the nearby plazas and museums. The hotel has a doorman and breakfast, which was very convenient. Most staff didn’t speak English, but everyone was very friendly, and the few Google Translate convos we needed to have worked out well. A good option for this price.

Great place worth the price and has indoor car parking and the key is an electronic slim card. The air-conditioned room is very comfortable and clean. The morning breakfast is a buffet and you get a real meal not just a coffee and croissant for example. The service is superior and the whole staff is friendly and for my experience they went above and beyond to make my experience a memorable and excellent one. So much more you can expect and it's walking distance from el centro and many important places.

The hotel is nice. But the bathrooms in very bad condition. The beds are very hard. And lots of noise all night

I do not recommend this hotel because the following are poorly managed: customer service at front desk, housekeeping of guest rooms, and air conditioning units. In addition, basic level rooms do not have windows that let in natural light. Instead all windows open to the hallway, which is very noisy.
During my stay the following were persistent problems:
1. Customer service at front desk
A) the hotel demand customers surrender their identity cards to them, which they keep in file. They make copies of your passport. If you want your identity stolen, stay here. Mexican hotels have this peculiarity where second or third rate hotels like this one will not check customers in unless they give them their official ID for them to make a printed copy. They then file this.Note: THEY DO NOT SPECIFY HOW THEY WILL PROTECT OR SAFEGUARD YOUR INFORMATION AGAINST IDENTITY FRAUD and THEFT.

When I complained that I did not agree with their duplicating and retaining my personal data, they simply said that if I did not like this I could leave their hotel and go somewhere else. As I was out of my country, I couldn’t simply leave.
B) Poor attitude in accommodating customer requests.

Context
When I checked in , I asked what would happen if the room was dirty. To this, front desk staff maliciously sent the doorman to supervise my own inspection of the room to place an added pressure on the time I used and the type of problems I found. Indeed, the glass door to the shower has been allowed to be covered in grime, which is now so thick it’s impossible to clean. Many rooms are this filthy.

When I arrived the A/C did not turn on at all, so this means they do not regularly maintain their electrical units.

Upgrade Request (room dirty with old brownish towels)
I Requested an upgrade given all problems with my room. To this, Esmeralda at front desk asked to cancel my reservation if I didn’t approve.

2 Housekeeping .

A) the bath room was dirty: many long hairs were on the floor and the glass door in the bathroom was filthy.

B) Food on the floor: The cleaner forgot to thoroughly clean the floor. There was a raisin next to the night stand.

B) Bad hotel really!!

They DID NOT UPGRADE the hotel room, and wanted to charge me for providing a clean room immediately. I had to wait over half an hour to access the room. This was simply intolerable. As I was too tired, I had to wait to be assured the room was actually clean.

Sooo, do not stay here. It’s not cleaned professionally, it’s managed poorly and your business is jot appreciated. Instead spend your money elsewhere. Management is largely absent. When O asked to speak to the manager, they refused to tell me when the person was here or to provide an email or phone. Awful, awful place. Stay away if you can.

Ive been staying at this hotel twice a year...2019 I booked almost a whole floor for my wedding and its always been great. Great cleaning personnel overall great staff. But so disappointed in this last stay. I own a restaurant and I’ve known all my life to treat guests and this lady who takes her receptionist job to serious Is extremely extremely rude not once or twice but all the time for no reason. Her name is Elisabeth. Please stay away from this girl its like she think she has some kinda of power with her super lame job that she cant do right. I really suggest to the owners to please talk to this young women so she can come back to earth because their gonna loose another good client because of her disgusting attitude, really feel bad for her coworkers because their great. And Sadly will be taking my business elsewhere.
