First, let me say that I don't like to write bad reviews but in this case there were a lot of faults and I felt it necessary to do so and to bring the issues to the attention of Management for correction.
I booked a suite and was placed into room 502 which was about the size of a walk in closet with no window. No way was this a suite. I then had to go back to the front desk and asked to move. The room I went into was 315 and there was a serious issue with the AC unit, However the room was twice the size of 502 and for the same price and one that I would consider a suite. I spent the night going in between sweating and freezing. There was also someone elses used face mask handing in the lampshade.
After our day out, we returned at about 10.00 pm to find the parking garage closed. We thought we missed it, so we drove around the block three times trying to find it. We discovered we were at the right place and had to park and go into the hotel. They said yes it is closed and asked us to drive around the block again so that they could open it for us.
The restaurant staff was over the top outstanding and the food was tasty, well prepared and well priced. The bright side to my stay!
There are lots of hotel properties in Guadalajara and I feel that for this hotel to continue making it, they have to up the level of service provided in several areas.
