Hotel 1970 Guadalajara is an A+ hotel to stay. Rooms were spacious, clean and very homey. Our second room, even have a kitchen and living room. I was very impressed and delighted with customer service. They were very prompted when called upon for help. Breakfast was buffet style but you could order from menu as well. Our waiter and especially our waitress (Sandra) were so very nice and eager to attend to our attention. As a large family, we will most definitely return on our next vacation.

Don't. This hotel looks great in pictures and carries the Hilton last name, but feels and looks nothing like it. Rooms are pretty but small, bathrooms feel improvised. The rooftop bar is the most memorable piece of this hotel. The amenities and courtesy items feel cheap. Overall, it's still a nice place, but would highly suggest to look for another place in the same price range to have a much better experience.

Great room and awesome beds. The bar is a cool place for drinks but food quality is extremely poor. Pretty much anything you order including their breakfast buffet is bad. There are many excellent restaurants in the area to explore.

Do not get fulled by pretty pictures. Yes, the photos look great and so does the hotel. But it does not have any fresh air access! The windows do not open, there is no ventilation in the room and the conditioner is only recycling the air you have inside of the room. The lack of oxygen is a huge problem. I had to keep the door of the room (leading to a public corridor) open practically all the time. But at night it was still extremely stuffy and hard to breath which gave me awful headaches. The administration of the hotel did not offer any solution at all.
Now, during the pandemic constant exchange of air is more than ever. Imagine what you are breathing in after all the guests who stayed there.
I do not recommend this hotel.

Outside it can look pretty rough but inside it’s beautiful and great customer service ! Parking is valet. But everything was great!

In general, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel overall is getting a little tired and needs some refurbishing to be considered a 4-star hotel in our opinion. The quality of the food, and availability/selection was below average, especially for dinner.
