Great local place!! Heard the music as I was walking by the other day and thought this would be a great place to go to. By chance, a friend recommended to meet there the very next day...coincidence?? The food menu is limited but it's not a dinner restaurant, it's a bar first and foremost. A bar with a great vibe and local folks who love to sing along with the performers. Highly suggest meeting up with some friends here....grab a table...a drink...order a snack and enjoy the lively atmosphere

That was just the most amazing bar I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere is amazing and the life music is great. Everyone is singing along with all the songs the piano guy plays and it just gave me goosebumps how united it felt.

A must-go!! Busy as it gets but totally worth the experience!! Just ask “una cerveza por favor” or “un tequila Cascahuin,” and you won’t regret it. Somebody left a bike because he could afford his bill, so it’s on display.

This place is fantastic! It feels a bit like going back in time. Old school bar, traditional local food, and live piano. Love the photos around the place. Torta ahogada is amazing and the cerveza is cheap. I just keep coming back

Can't say enough good things about this Cantina - one of the coolest nightlife experiences I've had.

I came here with a group of friends on a Friday night. The place was packed and there were no seats available. We ordered a round of beers and listened to a man playing the piano in the middle of the cantina. Many people were singing along to well known Mexican songs. We later went to order a mixed drink and the bartender was soo generous with his tequila pours (literally the tequila was overflowing from the shot glass).

Around 11pm we heard the blast of a trumpet towards the front of the cantina and everyone started shouting and hollering. The mariachi band had arrived, and the place was completely lit. The band went around and played songs as people requested. The atmosphere was so lively and communal. Everyone was very friendly.

La Fuente has a reputation as one of the oldest cantinas in Guadalajara, and a regular crowd every weekend. It's simple, but a really fun place to hang out and grab a cerveza or a tequila drink.
