Hotel with beautiful classical architecture, good maintenance and rich breakfasts, the people are very friendly! little lighting, but it's ok because they have very good decoration with works by art.

Such an authentic, beautiful and down-to-earth hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and unassuming. The owners and all the people who work there are truly kind and very friendly, they will do whatever is needed to assist. The location is perfect, nearby to just about everything. I can't wait to return.

Very pleased with my stay here. The location is great, walking distance to main attractions in downtown area. The staff is friendly. The colonial arquitecture adds a bonus to the place. Rooms are ok in size, although noise is corridor can be an issue. Cleanness and WiFi were ok. Would recommend this place. Ideal for couples or solo travelling... mostly for tourists as it does not provide any business amenity.

I went there with my family, there's so much art around to appreciate. My kids loved the antique style with a colonial architecture, thick walls, double hight ceilings which makes a fresh room. It's not you standard room but it was comfy...No A/C but it wasn't needed, small tv but its ok we didn't get to watch it. The sink had a little leak but they fixed it.
The location of the hotel is amazing! You walk everywhere from there.

It's not like US standards, things are different. First of all no AC so if it's a hot night try and get a room downstairs. My family was in town for a wedding and some of us had the bottom floor and others the second floor. Second floor Def a lot hotter. The employees are great. If you ask them for something they'll get it for you or help out in whatever way. The breakfast here alone gets 5 stars. It's served buffet style amd they have a great deal of options. They had pancakes, eggs, chilaquiles, beans, cereal and so on. It's very close to all the stores around the center of downtown Guadalajara. The location was perfect since the wedding took place at a nearby church. I'll definitely recommend but just remember we aren't in the US anymore so standards will be different and make sure to get a room on the bottom floor. Oh and no elevator either.

Aged but priceworthy. Right on top of many tourist attractions. No a/c internet did not work here. Good for a budget short stay. Very charming building. But if you need a lot of comforts, stay somewhere else.
