My husband and I have stayed here a few different occasions. We enjoy ourselves each time. Exceptional customer service, good food options. It's more of a party vibe so if you're looking to relax u0026 have quiet time you may not like it. They have fun events and games at the pool . They have concerts and shows right on the resort. We love to party so the vibe is always righteous. Rooms are decent u0026 they are constantly sanitizing. And the price is pretty great too. Planning another trip for December of 2022. Love it!

This place is amazing! The place is clean everywhere you look, I always saw someone keeping things neat and tidy. All the staff is friendly, when we first arrived we was quickly greeted and our bags was taken to be sanitized. The buffet was amazing and the food was great. There was always someone coming to the pool area making sure we was good on drinks. The rooms was nice and super clean, someone came every morning for cleaning service and to restock the fridge. It felt like heaven there. I would definitely come back and or recommend to other people. My only complaint is that you have to come down to the lobby at 9am everyday to make reservations for the seafood, Mexican or Italian restaurants and if you didn’t get downstairs in time, you’ll be stuck with the buffet. I wish there was a way to book reservations online rather than trying to wake up early after being up late at night enjoying any activities.

The resort is pretty small compared to others in Cancun which is something we liked. Me and my boyfriend stay from May 16 to May 20 and we had a great time. They gave us a better room because ours wasn’t ready which was already a great start. There are 4 restaurants, and 3 are reservations only which is kinda of annoying because you need to down to the lobby before 8 to get in line to get a spot, and there aren’t many spots. Other restaurant is buffet. The food is pretty good, there were some things we didn’t like but others that were very good, especially at the Italian and Mexican restaurant. There’s also a snack bar open 24h. The pool is nice and there’s almost always some activities going on. The beach is very small but clean and nice. The only downside is that there are boat passing by and stopping right next to the hotel which can be annoying if you’re tying to relax. The peace of water you can access and swim is also very small. The personnel is always available to get your drinks (because they need tips). They’re also always cleaning and we didn’t see anything dirty left behind. Our room was very nice, AC works great, always clean and they’re always refilling the mini bar (part of the all-inclusive). We didn’t have any issues with people trying to sell you things or having you sign up for things like others said. Overall, for the price, this is a great place to stay for a couple days, however I don’t think I would spend more than 5/6 days there

Overall great experience. From when we checked in with Gustavo, very informative and fast. Bartenders made the drinks so good and strong especially Gerardo. In the buffet Pepe was our waiter and he was very friendly and knew how to welcome us very well. Amenities are great. They were also good on security on only guests being aloud! This is the 3rd hotel I’ve stayed in Cancun and so far my favorite.

The resort is fine. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little shabby, but that is expected for the price. What was not expected was that a hotel advertised as all-inclusive with alcohol and food would require standing in line for reservations for restaurants, and only serving alcohol between noon and midnight. The resort posts multiple signs saying they cannot serve alcohol outside these hours. However, that is nonsense, the law clearly states that hotels and resorts do not have to abide by this. Further, they should not advertise as "all-inclusive" with regards to alcohol without stating outside of noon-midnight.
The reservation system for restaurants is terrible and frustrating. You are required to make reservations for the restaurants at 8:30am. But often they do not begin until 8:45, there is no indication of where the lines form, staff give conflicting information one where the lines are for which restaurant, and it is a giant confusing mess.
I am enjoying my stay, but will certainly not stay here again. There is nothing wrong with cost-saving measures, but they are introduced very sneakily.

I would not recommend this hotel. We had a wedding at this hotel so we had a large group of people staying here. They did not accommodate rooms that we paid for. When this was brought up to Angelica Nahuat, she printed out our confirmation and “kindly” circled what I paid for which was a double room. According to their website a double room accommodated either a king or two double beds. There was no indicator describing the amount of people required per room. She did not provide any compensation or even apologize for the misunderstanding, talked down at us the whole time. Terrible manager and front desk staff. Another family in our group were given a room for the first day and on the second day the room was taken from them. The bride and groom didn’t even receive the room they were promised by staff. If you can’t accommodate the people paying for the wedding, that tells you a lot about this hotel. On top of that, you had a giant line of people waiting to get a room which I have never experienced such slow service at any resort I’ve stayed at. When you finally do get to check in, they tell you nothing about where your room is or what is at the hotel so you have to find it all on your own. Terrible customer service. Don’t stay here unless you don’t want what you paid for. They’ll tell you the hotel is “full” meanwhile the rooms next to some guests were vacant with double beds empty.

I took my twins to this resort in June to celebrate good grades. I requested they not clean our room due to prior reviews. They cleaned our room anyway. On day 2 my daughter discovered she had $40 missing out her purse. I informed the management and after a little bit of the run around, they refunded me the $40. I felt relieved and didn’t think about anything else. Upon arriving back home and unpacking, we discovered someone had stolen my daughter’s brand new red swimsuit that was a little too big and the reason she didn’t wear it in Cancun, along with some silver hoop earrings. I was so disappointed. In all my years of traveling, I have never experienced stealing from my room. I am beyond disappointed with the resort. I will never go back or recommend this resort. Shame on your staff Occidental!!!!!
