La Capilla Argentina is conveniently located inside the Marriott Cancun Hotel across from the main check-in counters in the lobby. The Argentinean Steakhouse focuses on freshly prepared meat accompanied by a great salad, antipasti bar. They have a very large wine cellar with more than 180 different labels. This restaurant presents a variation on the Mediterranean diet, combining Argentine cuisine with a heavy influence of Italian, Spanish, French and other European cuisines. They have live tango dancing nightly at 7:30 p.m.

The menu is very extensive so we solicited some recommendations from the server. We decided on the Argentinian empanadas, Beef tenderloin and chicken breast brochette, Flank steak, a side of mashed potatoes, and Antipasti bar. The empanadas were very good – nice pieces of beef tenderloin, enriched with corn, ham, cheese, tomato, and basil. The antipasti bar was expansive and even had nice, thin slices of beef tongue, assorted ceviche, and other seafood dishes like seasoned mussels. The flank steak needed a little more cooking time to get to our preference, so we sent it back for more cooking. The beef tenderloin and chicken breast brochette were very good – the tenderloin was spot-on and the chicken was nice, tender, and juicy. The mashed potatoes were alright, but nothing special. The staff members were friendly and had recommendations ready when needed. They were a little pushy with their food and wine recommendations, but that’s to be expected in a restaurant. It was a nice meal, but was overshadowed by some of the other restaurant offerings by the JW and Marriott Hotel (e.g. Gustino). In hindsight, we would have rather eaten at Gustino a second time over La Capilla.

Food: We ordered Rib Eye Steak (medium), Beef Tenderloin (medium rare), and Flank Steak (medium). As a meat lover, I thought the steak was amazing. The chips were included with the steak so it was filling for three people. I really liked Flank Steak because it was juicy and moist in the inside. The sauce for the steak was also really tasty. I was surprised how soft beef tenderloin was. Overall, I want to give 10/10 for the food.
Environment: We were seated on a table next to the glass window where we could watch the swimming pool. The interior had authentic Italian/Spanish/Argentina theme. The restaurant was overall clean and romantic.
Price: $95 for 3 meals (Rib Eye steak, Beef Tenderloin, Flank Steak) and 1 beer. The price was very reasonable. In America, the price would have been doubled for the amount of meat we got.
My thought: I highly recommend this place for everyone. If you are a meat lover like I am, this place is a must-go! The steak size is abundant with a reasonable price. You get a free bread at the beginning so ordering appetizer is not totally necessary. However, you are more than welcome to try their appetizer and let me know how it is. ???? I would definitely go back to this place.

Really good food. The salad buffet has all you need and is so good. Service was good. They had music and a dance show going on that made it that much more fun.

Great place for breakfast. They offer a buffet style american breakfast with an open concept kitchen at the centre. They will make you your choice of omelet.

We dined at this restaurant at a quite deserted night. Had two glasses of Mexican vine with a few sea food starters and a delicious salmon main dish. Service was great. Place was quite romantic. The best part of the night was two tango dancers. They were very good at what they were presenting. I will definitely dine at this restaurant again.

The restaurant is in the Marriott Cancun resort and the food is very good and atmosphere is very cozy and romantic. Their breakfast buffet is amazing and I haven't seen a buffet with so many options before, it is truly almost overwhelming on what to choose to eat. Someone else mentioned that it is a bit dark at night and I do agree that you have to use your phone in some corners to get light to read the menu. But to recap, the food and service are amazing.

Hands down one of the best meals I've had anywhere. Enrique was one of the best waiters ever! Very attentive service, and excellent food. We went on our last night, if we had known we would of skipped some other place and gone there more than once. Definitely the service and food, is worth the price!
