ADO Aeropuerto Cancun Terminal 2

Bought tickets online from the official Cancún Airport website and it was cheaper to buy locally on the stand. Also, I booked the 16:35h bus to Tulum and I was informed it would only arrive at 17:10, taking less than 2 hours. IT TOOK 3. Stopped at Playa Del Carmen and then it went to Tulum. For 18.80 usd is not a cheap option. Its the cheapest but not at all worth it. Rent a car!

ADO is a complete madness. 1 hour delay, people running over each other shouting, and you can't get a seat. Rather take a taxi.

We caught the ADO bus from Cancun airport to downtown Cancun. After buying the tickets inside the terminal, you are directed outside to the bus waiting area. We had about 15 minutes to wait which was not bad. After boarding the bus it pulls into each terminal then takes your to downtown Cancun which was about 15 minutes drive from the airport. The bus is air conditioned with reclining seats. The price for bus was 87pesos per person.

Our bus to Tulum was leaving from a different terminal and while others were trying to sell us a cab for 20USD the ADO bus driver offered and took us to the right terminal and we were able to catch the bus on time. Supper helpful!

Be careful when you buying a ticket and double check the final destination. I bought a ticket to playa del carmen for 200 and instead they gave me a ticket to Cancun which was for 80 and it took me more than an hour to get my ticket to Playa
