We went here for Lyme treatment. I had had it for 16 years, 15 before we even found out I had it. I wanted to wait until after I had finished the Dendritic and NK cell shots before I wrote a review.
I was close to finishing off the shots when I was bit again, this time I knew the signs and was able to get the treatment right away. After completing the treatments and getting off the antibiotics I feel I can write a proper review.
It's been eight months since we were there and I can honestly say it was worth it. (Going through the treatments is difficult, but worth it) For the past two weeks my energy has started to come back, my moods are a little better and I'm eating a little more, I still have to stay on my diet, but I can eat a little more of that food.
The Lyme gave me food allergies, stomach pain and gastroparisis and I still have hope that eventually I'll be able to eat a larger variety of foods, maybe not everything, but hopefully more than I can eat now. To be honest, the thing that has made me feel better the most is my energy returning and eating more even though it's the same foods, I feel my digestion is starting to move and the fact I have more energy is a wonderful thing. I still have stomach issues, but I also have some good days or hours and that means a lot. I say that because for 16 years I was in constant pain and didn't have a break so to have good days and hours is a miracle.
If given the opportunity to do it again, I wouldn't hesitate. The doctors there are very knowledgeable and so nice. Unfortunately due to my allergies I wasn't able to be on their diet and without hesitation they made sure I had the foods there I was able to eat I tried their diet, but by day three I was in so much pain and so little energy I couldn't do it. They were so accommodating and made me feel like I was important and wanted my stay there to be the best it could be. They want you to be as comfortable as they could make you.
They did say it will take some time and they were right it's just been in the last month or so that I've had a greater return on my energy and where I've had my good days with my stomach and eating a little more.
Everyone there was amazing and I would do it again in a heart beat. I can honestly say I believe they were able to get rid of the Lyme disease and now my body is at the healing stage. (There is no test to determine if it's gone or not, but I'm going with how my body is feeling) We shall see how much it heals itself, but to me having my energy back and my mind starting to clear up again is absolutely wonderful and I'm forever grateful to them for giving that back to me.
