After staying here a weekend I want to go back again. The front desk was very polite and accommodating to me even though my spanish is limited. The room was very clean and I felt safe staying there. You can tell the staff put a lot of effort into maintaining a high standard. The location is good because it's close enough to the party life where you can walk but far enough so that the music doesn't keep you up all night. They have their own personal bar at the hotel that I want to go to next time. If you ever visit Tijuana I recommend that you stay at Hotel Aqua Rio. I can't wait to go back someday!

Very affordable room with hot tub clean free breakfast! The breakfast and coffee needs a lil work but still nice and fresh good security bed was so comfortable can really get really nasty air conditioned but they need to add more english channels only have like 5 channels other than that really nice experience

Terrible terrible service no English at all isis that no ice no nothing beds were comfortable rooms were okay maids are nice the rest air conditioning brakes and it doesn't break then you try to fix it and then they try to it's always something with them and the accountant or whatever he is is a real piece of work don't go

Honestly would have given a 4 star rating if it weren't for the breakfast. All the plastic they use is just irritating me. Everything was wrapped in foil and the utensils were plastic and Styrofoam

Awesome clean and safe. Staff is very friendly and prices are OK a little high but if you can use booking dot com it is a bit better. Have a menu and bar lounge area and security room service if you want .

Absolutely no sleep. It's in a bad part of town where loud wailing, screaming and other noises were heard. Rooms smelled of cigarettes and staff was not accommodating. Horrible stay.

Think twice before coming to this place!

The staff never clarified their policies and took my identification card without my permission to took photocopies. I was vicitim of identity theft, so no way I will trust a hotel that just takes your data without explanation. Also, parking lot is limitated; they say they have more space, but how can I trust a place when I can't even see where my car is parked?

And the cherry on top: while I was at the lobby, an almost-naked person (just a towel covering their body) and a man walked in from stairs to pick a third person. The staff did not say anything and allowed this person to be almost naked in from of other guests. Luckily, there were no minors, but I cannot feel safe in a place where the staff cannot call out inadequate behavior.
