The church itself is beautiful. The area it’s in makes it difficult to appreciate or get a photo of. Across the street from it is a shopping center that is always extremely crowded. The church itself is on a pedestrian street that has 2 pharmacies, a few other stores and the street leads right to the red light district. There are often a lot of homeless people hanging about. The crooked cops also like to hang out here and like to harass and accuse tourist of buying drugs from the pharmacies. I’ve not been inside. I’m sure it’s as beautiful as the outside. Just be careful, much like the velario, it’s a nice place located in a not so nice part of town.

It's a nice church it's in the center of downtown tijuana it's a must place to visit when you come to tijuana and in the right side of the church there is the downtown market place where you could find some good food to eat at a fair price and at the end of the market place there is a little store where you could find some good Mexican cheese just ask the counter person by the name of [ Juan ] to give you the best cheese he sells and he'll give the good stuff cheese at a good price, hope this post helps.

Oh, this is a very beautiful Church, a historic landmark and a good place to pray. Went there for Sunday Mass, and the atmosphere was very inclusive. A good cantor and great music. The building is graceful, outside and inside, not overloaded with imagery. I'm glad I have been here.

This is how they celebrate the EQUIVALENT of Halloween, however, it has deeper meaning.

The event is called Celebration Remembrance of Day of The Dead. Mostly family members whom they still hold near and dear to their heart.

Ironically, they do NOT give out candy like in the USA. What they do is make the effigies of their loved ones is made out of candy, bees wax, honey, sugar cane; and they leave their (family's) being remembered Favorite foods which could be anything from fruits and vegetables to sweet breads, and drinks.

It does have a cultural significance!

It's gorgeous I remember going there when I was a child and my grandparents had a house in tj the weekends it was packed with people selling tons of things. I'm so glad it's still there and still so gorgeous. Always a must to visit when we are there

Beautiful church with very distinctive architecture. Centrally located, we took an Uber here and then wandered downtown, makes for an easy dropoff and pick up point. Very close to the arch as well as many small markets and vendors.
