Good location, decent and clean room and bathroom. However, we did not feel safe. Upon returning from a walk, after checking-in, around 5:00 PM, we returned and found our door open. The , across the hall, a woman approached me and told me she saw three men come out of her room. She was too scared as she was with her children, so she waited for her husband. We then notified the Hotel staff, asking if it was normal for cleaning at this time, or if anyone accessed our room. Hotel security stated that it was not normal, and they no cleaning staff clean at that time. Then Hotel security stated they would look at the cameras to investigate. That night we locked out door, and placed an object at the door to prevent anyone grin entering. When checking out, we asked the day staff if they were notified of the incident and if they had a response to the incident. The staff did not know what we were asking about. Since we were leaving, we didn’t press the issue further and since our belongings were OK. However. I expected an explanation and wonder if the night staff recorded the incident or actually looked at the security cameras.

The hotel was okay, nothing to be wowed about. 1st day, a/c was not working, we requested a fan , didnt get it till the morning. We were only given 2 bath towels for a reservation of 5 guests. Called the front desk to request more towels and we never recieved them, we also requested to be moved to a different room being that beside the ac issue wifi was not working either. We finally got moved to a different room on the 2nd day, we were needing to move our stuff out of our room to the other one. They did not bother to ask if we were going to need assistance doing so, it was in a complete different floor. On our 3rd day they told us breakfast was not available, I didnt even bother telling the front desk about it, both reservationists evening and daytime seemed annoyed with everyones complains.The only nice thing about this hotel was that it was in front of the plaza and had a small nice pool. Other than that front desk was whatever, only 1 elevator was working, lots of people complaining about the same ac issue so it wasn't just us. Maintenance guy u0026 housekeeping were both nice. For the price paid, I wouldn't stay here again. Definitely look somewhere else if you want to stay in a worry free hotel.

I made a reservation as a Double Room. But they gave me a single and it was very small for me and my girlfriend.
When i check-in, received a remote for TV. But ANY channel cannot see...only i can see a blue screen and "ninguna señal".
it is not the cheaper hotel in this area, but very very disappointed.

ahh...and i don't know how to explain about this smell of room and dirty feeling air conditioner. because after i turned on the airconditioner, cannot stop coughing.

AND THE WATER...HAS YELLOW COLOR!!!

Located in front of the main square, across from the Cathedral in downtown Tampico. Beautiful views from the recently renovated guest rooms. A fully equipped gym. Friendly staff and really great food. Must visit.

The air conditioning didn't work, the phone didn't work when I tried to call the reception desk. The tv wouldn't even turn on. The only good thing was the staff were very kind and helpful.

The location is very good and The service was very kind but The rooms smells like "old"

I would give 5 stars if the AC was cold. Very clean and friendly.
