The hotel:
Besides the perfect location, the esthetics and interior design of the place is extremely pleasing. The rooms are immaculate, the bathroom is better equipped than many 5 star hotels. While it is on the pricier end of the local boutique hotels, it surely worth it. Some of the room sizes might come through as tiny, if you want to sit in your room this is not the place for you. The terrace and bar offers a nice place to relax.

The place pays attention to try to source locally almost everything they can and find the best of everything from mexico. From the bedsheets to the last pice of handcrafted soap in the bathroom radiates authenticity and quality without any pretentiousness. The business of the hotel looks to be manifesting economic spillover, both in the materials and equipments they source and buy, and I believe even in the people they employ.

The staff:
Whoever runs this hotel does it right. I belive the staff is quite well kept and respected, and this attitude inherits to the crew and their interaction to the guests. They are attentive, kind and professional. The only thing is the lack of foreign language knowledge, but this is very common challenge in the region and the staff always ready to help bridging communication gaps by having somebody nearby who can help translating.

The food:
The restaurant is out of this world. The chef is a young guy who just trying his wings, but those wings are going to be huge and fly him really high. The menu is quite short, but it is intentionally kept that way I think to always be able to bring a consistent quality from the best ingredients. The cuisine is rather asian/mexican fusion with some French registers, but keeps the style, taste, look and feel close to the traditional Mexican kitchen.

New hotel! And inside have restaurant called "Carola." They serve very decent Mexican meal. Specially "Chamorro de cerdo en pensa" was amazing. Nice some juicy meat with well seasoned onions. I recommend this place for date dinner. Quiet and beautiful place. Service is also amazing. There are waiters waiting for you anything. And you can also see the open kitchen. For sure hygiene is really good. At least one time recommend to visit!
