I fell in love with the lino cutting practice and that is also thanks to Enzue who taught me with patience, trust and attention. She and Fernando are wonderful people, who will provide a great atmosphere for their students. Artists with their hearts on the right place. Thank you so much!

I walked there one afternoon, having seen others' rave reviews. I mostly wanted to see the prints (they do have stunning works of art for all budgets, btw), but walked in as a three days workshop was starting. I met Fernando, who curates the gallery and teaches the workshop. When he told me that the piles of linocut prints in the gallery had been made by people with no previous background of the technique, I could NOT believe it. All were beautiful, well composed, and showed good technical skills. I am not an artist but I do know art and have a longtime passion for woodblock prints: so I can tell if something is good quality, and it blew my mind that so many people could get these results after a 3 days workshop.
I decided to stay one more day than I had planned in San Cristobal just so I could take the workshop. It was the best decision I made on that trip! I just joined the group that started that day, and Fernando made us do small assignments that taught us basic techniques. I had done linocut before but never learned formally, and so this really helped me get a sense of my technical options. I'm posting the first mini-print (carved on the first day) and my second, final print (two more days of work). I think you can tell the difference in technique, quality, composition. You can do it too! This was such a lovely experience, sitting together and carving as we talk, sip on coffee and listen to music. Fernando's partner, Enzué, is an amazing artist and person, and I am so glad that I got to spend time with these amazing human beings and their adorable daughter. This was a real treat and the highlight of my trip -- which means a lot because there is a lot to see in Chiapas!

I walked across this gallery and immediately fell in love with the vibe. I extended my stay in San Cristobal just to follow their 3-day printing workshop. It was a very nice experience and I really like the end results as well! Thank you Enzué and Fernando for introducing me to this form of art :)

After a short and accidental visit to the gallery I couldn't help but sign up for a workshop with Fernando.

I learned a lot about both the technique and the thought behind the creation.

The workshop was excellent in every aspect and I will continue to create more and more thanks to the personal and professional attitude.

Thank you Enzue and Fernando

I took the first level printmaking course here and loved it so much. The space where you work is facing out into a public garden/ eating area so there are always interesting people about and live music while you work.
Fernando is an excellent teacher, I enjoyed our deep conversation about the meaning and purpose of art. He is also very clear and specific about the process. Enzué is an amazing artist and teacher as well. I felt well taken care of in their hands and loved how my prints came out. Thanks you guys!!

I participated in one of Enzués and Fernando’s workshops and had a wonderful time in the little hidden backyard where their studio is located. Surrounded by green plants and to the smell of the best coffee in town I spend three days working on my draft. All steps were explained very well and showed to me with patience, from the very first cut until the signing of my artwork, which turned out amazing (although I am neither a painter nor would I call myself an artist). I am so grateful for this experience and would recommend it without hesitation.
