Beautiful, clean, and with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the simple room with shared bathroom (top tier shared bathroom experience!). The complimentary water refill station in the kitchen was super appreciated, and the included parking a block away was easy.

Nice quiet hostel the staff was always around and helpful for anything we had questions about or needed i can’t thank them enough for letting us store our bags while we took a day trip after check out the shower is hot and beds are comfortable in the private room the place is kept very clean with a nice kitchen it is about a 10 minute walk to the center of town and close to anything you need with a laundry service across the street with a day turnaround we enjoyed our stay

SCAM AVOID! Upon arriving at the hotel we found out that we need to pay 8% on top of our reservation price for the card transaction! There was no info about it while booking. They trying to force us to pay cash! They doing it to avoid taxes and pay very low wages to their employees! We didn’t want to support this, and moved to another hotel, but they still tried to charge my card even we didn’t stay there! Shame!

Loved the way that the staff was so helpful and kind. Also we did the shared bathroom room and the bathroom was kept very clean. Would stay again

Casa Azabache is an excellent place to stay if you travel to San Cristobal, the room was very comfortable u0026 clean, it’s well located in a quite street but a walking distance from Restaurants. All the staff are very friendly, Jaime the manager is very professional and tried the best to accommodate all your needs, Alberto and Jose Luis the receptionists were absolutely amazing helping me to get directions and activities, Restaurant suggestion etc. Also I had to mention that we booked our 6 day tour with the recommendation tours of Casa Azabache and was the best thing happened to us, Please asked for Josue if you book this service, he is a native and he is very knowledgeable about his town and culture, and his sense of humor make the trips experience a wonderful one. My next trip to San Cristobal definitely I will stay in Casa Azabache.

What an amazing stay in this beautiful town.
Rooms are so quiet that you will have hard time getting out of the comfortable beds in the morning.
Great location and outstanding customer service. They help you with anything you might need during your stay.
