This has to be my absolute favorite place to eat in Puerto Vallarta. Had dinner here last night and was absolutely amazed at how delicious the food was. Not only was the restaurant charming, service great, but the food was top notch. Started off with the mouth watering tomato soup. So flavorful and delicious. Then we had a lobster tail on top of perfectly prepared pasta and vegetables. Then the main course was a Filet with caramelized onion. Then we finished off the meal with crazy good mango crepes, cheese cake and a warm chocolate cake with ice cream. The chef hand picked the red wine pairing and it was
perfect. I drank too much. Had to leave a review because I was so impressed! Enjoy and thank me later!

Very courteous and professional. Beautiful setting. My lamb was cooked perfectly and the apple strudel came out nice.

Service was good but you could tell they were pushed to upsell as much as they can. I didn’t like the fact they don’t have a drink menu - basically making you blindly chose a drink and not knowing it’s cost. Food was meh.
I didn’t like either my dessert or my meal but for cost I forced myself to eat it, only to have stomach issues later that evening. Food presentation, Interior decor and ambiance was nice though. Way too pricey, far too many other places to dine at.

I have been visiting PV since 1998 and have visited more than 50 restaurants. The best dinner experience I had was at Trio which has been operating for 24 years. Even the tooth picks had sharp pints unlike some blunt ones I have been served.
The picturesque internal dining facility was excellent. When we ordered a special vine the server brought vine glasses from the exclusive cabinet and not from the bar. The service was good, the drinks were good, the food was good, the dessert was good.
What more can one ask for?

Delicious spot for Italian inspired seafood dishes! It’s not the cheapest, but if you are craving a good meal and great service with a respectable wine list, this place delivers. I especially crave the calamari appetizer, it’s not fried and full of flavorful goodness that can be sopped up with the complementary bread. Solid date night place!
