The best beef tacos. They have beef innards tacos here. It has the right amount of fat and juiciness. I came here three times within 24hrs, which attests to how great this local spot is.

Delicious, affordable, authentic, family owned.
They have either cheek or tongue tacos.
Exceptionally tender and juicy.
It is a local gem and hole in the wall treasure. Bet you can’t eat just 1!

We’ve been coming to Puerto Vallarta every year for the past 13-14 years. When I think about this trip, the overriding thought is about the cabeza tacos at Tacos de Cabeza el Chulo. We arrived this evening at our hotel at 8 and by 9 we were eating cabeza tacos and my wife and I had five each with a Lima drink for 160 pesos or about $8! They absolutely melt in your mouth with a crunch from the onions, tang from the lime and a great spice from the salsa. The small tortillas are steamed and warm and hold everything together perfectly. It’s perfection with heavenly tacos. The Agua Fresca are always special, several years ago, they had nanci which we loved and had never tasted before. You can always ask for a grande or large drink and it’s always great.

Delicious tacos! Got the cabeza to go, and meat was so tender. Don't forget to pick up fresh made churros at the stand on the same block.

Seriously give this a try! Have been coming to PV for years and these are the tacos that leave me wanting more! The flavor and the softness of these tacos is a supreme treat! Have one and you’ll be hooked. Very clean and professional. After you can walk 30 feet and grab fresh churros.

Been in PV a week and have eaten plenty of pastor and birria tacos but I was missing my favorite kinds, cabeza(cheek) and lengua(tongue). The cart was off the main street of Lazaro Cardenas just East one block past the large Farmacia Guadalajara. Since I'm still learning Spanish, it was intimidating at first because you could tell this was a local spot but as with traveling, sometimes you have to just dive in. Watched the locals to see how they ordered and went up to the gentleman standing there and asked if they had lengua and cabeza. He said yes so I ordered both. They served them up and I stood out of the way. Sprinkled some of their salsa verde on them. Meat was soft and delicious as were the corn tortillas. Definitely seek out this small spot for some authentic and tasty tacos. Muchas gracias Tacos de Cabeza El Chulo!
