I broke my reading glasses frame beyond repair. I went into Eye Metrics and David was wonderful. He removed the lenses and found frames that were the same size as the lenses. 45 minutes later I returned to pick them up. The lenses were now scratch free and David made sure they fit perfectly. All for a very reasonable price. A great experience. Thank you Eye Metrics, thank you David!

Super helpful after I lost my glasses in the surf. (Important lesson here: While you may be able to wear your glasses into the Caribbean or maybe even the Atlantic, the Pacific is another story entirely.) They were able to take my prescription and make me single-vision glasses the very same day! I picked a pair of German "Morgan" frames for 3500 pesos and the single-vision lenses were another 1100 pesos. So about $230 USD total.

I had lost my classes in Tulum and was in dire need of a new pair. This place was true to their word and the reviews right from the start! From completing an eye exam to prescribing a blue ray lens to having it ready for me within 2 days! This has been the fastest and effective service I've ever had by far and I can't recommend them enough!

My husband and I went during our vacation. My husband had a prescription from his eye doctor at home and I was in need of an exam and new glasses. I received a thorough eye exam which was free with purchase of the glasses. Many frames to choose from. Everyone at the clinic was kind and helpful. My husband liked the quality and service so much, he went back in February and got new lenses for a different pair of glasses too!

I've never seen so clearly! With such ease... no difficulties communicating, no wait time for testing, and my very expensive prescription was cheaper than in Canada by half! 2 pair of glasses came in less than a week! Excellent caring service. Thank you to all the helpful staff. I cant recommend enough!!

I had taken a bad fall at our resort and somebody accidentally stepped on my glasses, bending them horribly. One of the nose pads got lost , so we went to Eye Metrics Optica Medica, hoping they could provide me a new one. They were absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend using this optical shop. Thank you so much!

I wish I could offer them 10 stars! We were traveling here on vacation and decided to stay an extra week. My wife was about out of her daily wear contacts. (We were going to need an alternative to wearing glasses since we were snorkeling frequently).

We read similar stories on the reviews and headed straight here to see if they could be of help.

I've got to tell you... This place is spotless, professional, and well stocked. I met an elderly gentleman who I believe to be the owner. He looked at my wife's prescription and pulled out a set of contacts that were perfectly matched to her needs.

They went above and beyond to make sure we had a solution and we walked away very impressed with our experience here.
