Juan is magnificent host. His food is very good with extensive menu. His son, Juan Luis, has been studying piano for 1 yr. He is a true prodigy, and can bring you to tears. First musician in family. An American visitor, in their generosity and keen sense of young Juan's ability, gave him a first class electronic piano. Do not miss a visit here !

We went last night for dinner to get away from the hotel buffet and our dinner was great. The wife had the grilled mahi in garlic, and I had the beef and chicken skewer . Juan's son entertained us with a little dinner music on the keyboard while we enjoyed dinner with a jungle view. We will be back!

We had the Mexican Plate and liked it so much, we ordered Chile Rellenos to go for a meal the next day. The beers are always served at 38° which is perfect for those hot days at the beach. The owner speaks English and he has a good sense of humor. We look forward to our next visit to Mismaloya so we can stop in for another early dinner at Ramada Miramar on our way back to the hotel.

Little hideaway spot with great food, good service. Close to the beach but feels worlds away. Homemade dishes are excellent and well prepared. Beautiful jungle views with mango trees and gorgeous local flora and fauna.

Juan has the most amazing food! Mahi Mahi, octopus and the shrimp dinner were phenomenal...best I’ve ever had period! Margarita are great and the Pacifico is ice cold. I highly recommend it!

Great food! Good clean atmosphere! A second generation family restaurant with authentic fresh Mexican food. Cold beer and huge margaritas! Very friendly!

As always the food was excellent Juan is a great cook as well as server and we enjoyed hearing his son play his piano
