I have not been to this hotel in a few years....but...once was more than enough. The smokers were everywhere - by the pool, walking around ...the only place there was no smoking was in the dining room. Wasps all over the sweet breads in the morning. Food just average. Rooms were old and gross. My window wouldn't shut and I could hear the disco on the street blasting music until 4 AM!! It was a nightmare. I wanted to go home early but the tour operator said I would have to pay full fair to change my flight. Never again. The only good thing about this resort was the pool...but you still had to smell smoke from every direction ....yuck.

I’ve never had such poor service in my life! From the minute we checked in… the receptionist was rude. And then all the bartenders were awful! Clearly don’t know the service industry. Bartenders + recpettionist need some courses on service. The only good service was the server at the pool Guadalupe! (And a few serving in buffet that I never got names for) but Even the ones serving food at the buffet were slow and unorganized! Everything else about the resort is nice… but the service not so good.

Moises at the front desk should not be working customer service. He literally goes “sorry not open” and stood there helping other people. Extremely rude!

The staff and the people make the place! FRIENDLY kind service. The beach front location is great too.

Sergio with the kayaks is fantastic! He told me this morning and we were wishing 50 feet of a mommy and baby whale!!!

Yoga by the pool Mon - Friday and David at the bar all deserve shout outs for a great job. The cleaning staff are fantastic too. Rosa who did my room was great 220.

The food was lack lustre and repetitive- but then then the price is right. Fill up with the omelette bar. I had a good experience with the A La cart restaurant but others did not. Bring a sweater! It’s windy and cool at night.

The rooms are tired. But they loose points/stars with the loud music at night . Bring ear plugs or stay up and party with them. You might as well - it sounded as if the band was in my room anyways.

All in all - the people are great. And you only really sleep in your room and it was clean and ‘fine’. Affordable.

The food was horrible! We had the all inclusive and believe me the only thing good was the open bar. Had me a lot of piña coladas and husband had the unlimited beer. The breakfast buffet was horrible. The omelet chef was always in a bad mood. The pancake chef was slower than molasses. The last day she had both the pancakes and quesadillas. She couldn't keep up and she served me burnt pancakes. There was a server but i cant remember his name. He did us a solid and was able to get my autistic son some cut up fruit from the kitchen. We gave him a nice tip for his help. I liked their hot chocolate. The mimosas were not that good. No great entertainment at all at night. Very boring. The only exciting thing about the adult pool was the two palm trees in pool. They require you to have your mask on even outside only in the pool you can have off or when you are sitting in the beach. Weird to me. Don't recommend unless you want nasty food. I went because it was a package that i purchased through a friend but never again that hotel.

We booked a 5 night stay at Las Palmas by the Sea in early March of 2022. After a lack of sunny travels due to COVID, we selected this basic resort to save some pennies. If you're looking to save a buck, this place is a decent choice.

Pros - the staff are incredibly friendly! The beach is nice (although small) - you'll still get an awesome view of the sunset every day. The water was quite choppy this time of year so we didn't do too much ocean swimming. The adults only pool is small but decent. Make sure to nab chairs early in the morning as there is a smaller amount available. There are two resident parrots here - they were fun to feed and say hello to daily. There were plenty of locals also vacationing here which was lovely. The drinks were plentiful and tasty! Uber is available in PV - so you'll be able to tour around for a very reasonable price.

Cons - This is a very small *older* resort. The food selection wasn't very extensive. It was ok - we didn't go hungry by any means. We just happened to find the food off resort to be amazing in comparison. The room was very damp and the shower leaked onto the floor with each use. Put your towels outside to dry because they won't dry hanging in the washroom. We also experienced some room card issues, but that may have just been our room. There was a lack of selection in nightly entertainment as the size of the hotel doesn't permit a stage for any performances. We experienced karaoke and dance nights only (repetitive music selection). They begin at 9 and go till 11, which is fine if you're not looking to sleep too early. Make sure to request a room far from the lobby regardless - we were basically right beside it which made for noisy nights. There was also a lack of daily activities/entertainment.

This resort took it's COVID protocols fairly seriously which can be seen as a pro or a con depending on how you feel about wearing your mask nearly everywhere. All in all - if you're looking to have copious drinks in the sunshine on the beach or poolside, or if you plan to spend most of your time off resort - this isn't a bad option.

Ocean front hotel. Two pools, one of them adults only with smoking allowed. Buffet and evening restaurant. Daytime additional payments restaurant is available with exceptional sea food cooked right in front of you. Very fresh, very tasty and really cheap. Couple of dishes enough for two to share are around $11—$13 US dollars.
Big list of cocktails available.
Very friendly and helpful stuff.
Big choice of attractions.
We visit this place again and again.

The worst one yet. I've stayed in plenty of hotels and this one rates one star, only because a negative star is not available. All Inclusive? Where, Well my All Inclusive fee that I paid just went out the window. There were only three, out of the many staff members, that was helpful. Alejandro, the evening security guard, Monica, the Evening security and a bartender, only known to us as the lemon guy. They were courteous, extremely helpful, attentive and cared about their jobs, out of the three, Alejandro attended to us the best, 5 stars for him.. I can't say that for the rest of the staff. We ate at a restaurant when it finally opened and just to get three glasses of water it took four request and an long time. When the waiter finally brought the water, his comment was, "I really didn't feel like working today anyways", and then walked away...hey how about taking our order.  The food was poor to cheap quality, The room attendance was not helpful. When the cleaning crew went through the room, they took all the towels. What am I suppose to dry myself off with??? Well, I will NEVER stay here again.
