We loved this hotel. Great price and location. Walk to downtown PV, coffee shops and delicious restaurants. Manuel was so helpful when Expedia unexpectedly cancelled our reservation. Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. Great little gym and pool area. Room was clean and fresh towels provided daily which was appreciated. Would stay here again!

Manuel and his staff make you feel like family. We stayed here for over two months. We wish it was longer but we have to return to Canada.Our suite was very roomy and comfortable. Contained a small kichen area and a fridge.Great room decor. Rooftop pool and lobby area were great.Hotel is close enough to downtown P.V. as well as the Marina area.

Had a great time in PV and the people at this hotel made it even better. Roof top pool with loungers was fantastic! The building location was only 1 block away to walk the beach. Rooms were very clean, ours had a balcony to sit outside, management (Manuel) and his team were friendly and attentive to guests requests, felt like being at home. We will stay here again and I recommend this hotel to Canadians.

Beautiful establishment which was being repainted when we stayed there- making it even more lovely by the time we left! Allowed for an early check in and late check out, and has a gorgeous rooftop pool. We loved our room, although the room with the AC got very cold at night while the rest of the living room and kitchen areas stayed quite warm. Pretty loud at night but we still enjoyed ourselves! The staff was wonderful.

We have been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta for nine of the last ten years, usually staying in the romantic zone. This being the first time in the hotel zone we didn't really know what to expect. We were at Mar Elena for the month of January and this property exceeded our expectations. The apartment was perfect with hot water, and great water pressure, the two sofa's were really comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped with all pots and pans, toaster oven, coffee pot, blender, refrigerator and hot plate. It was nice to have a rooftop pool also.
We were happy to have bus and taxi service right outside the property. Very cheap to get to romantic zone,$1.00 per couple by bus and $3.00 by taxi.
Beach is less than a 5 minute walk, as well as the Soriano grocery/department store.
There is a fantastic coffee shop just outside the front entry to the hotel. There is easily 50 restaurants within walking distance. Costco, Sam's Club and Walmart are within a mile.
The staff at this property is the best that we have had at the 6 properties that we have vacationed at in PV. From Manuel the GM, the front desk ,and the maids were just fantastic.

High marks all round, for comfort, value and location!

Super friendly and helpful staff who treat you like family, and meet your every need before you even know you have one!

A squeaky clean and spacious room with a high ceiling and a stylish full bath.

Wonderful roof garden with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs around a heated lap pool.

A 'Hotel Zone' location that can't be beat for easy access to city buses and all stores and services from fine dining to street-side tacos. An 80 metre walk to the beach and family or retiree friendly.

And so affordable too!
