We were missing a table and chairs, the safe was broken, the room was filthy, hair in the bed, nail clippings on the floor, full of dust, black mold on the ceiling and AC vents, bathroom was really dirty.
We raised our complaint with the manager who said they would send someone to help, they never did. On leaving we asked for a refund which was rejected.
The worst part was our room was not secure, the door to the balcony had been forced open, you could see the damage, the safe was completely broken, we had no way to secure our cash or passports.
We requested to change room which was denied, the manager didn't seem to care, he was getting upset that we were complaining. We didn't book this place expecting a 5 star resort but we did expect it to be secure, safe and clean, but we were left feeling ripped off and after traveling so far, upset.
