Went to the beach bar here. Good guacamole and chips. Friendly people working there and patronizing too.
Busy location with lots of people going by.
I was tickled by the corn hanging on the ceiling - corn rows.

Traditional Mexican-style hotel. Very comfortable with many longtime repeat guests. Basic amenities. Nice pool. Two restaurants on the beach.

FYI the Vallarta daily reported that after 17 years of non-payment of water, their water is now turned off as of Friday the 15th of October 2021

Great location, however the place is horribly run down and nothing is being fixed, or painted or anything. We had 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. Sheets are super thin and rips in places, pillows are as old as the place. The people working there are very nice and helpful.

An old landmark hotel on Calle Francisca Rodriguez, right at the Malecon where the pier is located. I go there often the last Tuesday of each month for a sale on antiques and collectables. Though it is an older property it is kept up very well and clean. The location can't be better if you're looking for a well priced place to stay right on the beach.

You get what you pay for. No real amenities, no WiFi, simple room, no AC.
But great location and price was good.

Authentic Mexico hotel on the beach at the new pier. The prices are Mexico prices as is the charm and congenial atmosphere. It is like coming home to Mexico with sunsets like no where else.
