In a word, amazing! After living in Japan for 5 years and eating a LOT if sushi, History rates right up with the best we have had. Well priced (4 of us ate until stuffed with alcohol for the adults for about 1500 pesos) and the service was great! Only bad thing was that we didn't find Hisao until our last evening. We WILL be back!

As an East-Asian person, I’m honestly embarrassed that this place claims that it’s a Japanese restaurant.
Fish: Their sashimi is served swimming in ponzu and made like carpaccio; acid on the fish “cooks” the protein and you end up w a rough, dry consistency of the fish. All the rolls and nigiri are made with huuuuge amounts of unseasoned, basic white rice that’s packed in a tight ball. You can’t taste the fish because it’s sliced so thinly.
Ramen: I got the “traditional” and it was so confusing to see it get placed in front of me. The broth is thin and barely tastes of beef. The noodles are not ramen or udon; they’re a flat white rice noodle that is typical of North Vietnam pho. There were two depressing pieces of meat that had the dry texture of overboiled sandpaper. Corn in the bowl was soggy, and the noodles were soggy. Abysmal.
tldr; avoid this place if you want anything close to real Asian flavors. I think instant Shin ramen would taste better than this.

The sushi rice isn’t even seasoned, just plain white rice. The teriyaki sauce tastes like it’s watered down by half. The roll called for smaller salmon and there was just regular salmon. The tempura roll has 0 flavor.
The restaurant looks nice and is in a good location but the food is ridiculously mediocre. Grocery stores in Florida have better tasting sushi for half the price.

Easy and fast sushi. A little odd menu, but the rolls were huge! Great value with super friendly service. Everyone spoke great English too. They made a great basic salmon roll for our daughter and double cut it for her. Super helpful service. ❤️

This was some top quality sushi, better than most Japanese restaurants I’ve been to. Super fresh, tastefully seasoned and served by friendly staff.

It was to our surprise that PV has such delicious sushi. We were skeptical at first, but turned out to really enjoy the food. We’re already thinking about going back!
