This is an okay hotel. No extras, but has the basics. It is clean. The location is fantastic. Walk one or two blocks to anything: beach, restaurants, bars, clubs. This is a family style hotel. And the price was very good.

Hotel Eloisa is solid little hotel located in the romantic zone of PV. While I wouldn't call the place "nice" it is a decent option and very affordable. The beds are comfortable although the bedding could use an update. The rooftop pool is pretty small and makes it awkward to hang out in if there are more than 3 people in at the same time. On the topic of the pool, the water is pretty murky and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. A cloudy layer of what I hoped was sunscreen was visible my entire stay. Location is a plus and the AC, while not amazing, is adequate. All in all not a bad place but I probably would stay somewhere else next time...

Great little gem in the middle of Zona Romantica! Clean rooms! Friendly staff! Close to the beach!! Greats bars and restaurants on the same block! I'd definitely stay there again!

Very nice place for the price. Rooms are typical size with comfortable beds. The inside facing rooms are pretty quiet. Service is excellent.

Though it is certainly not a 5-star hotel based on amenities and the rooms, it is a "5-star hotel" in its category. The rooms are comfortable as are beds and shower, the location is unbeatable, right by Lazaro Cardenas park in Old Vallarta, close to it all. It's not located on the beach, but is some 100 yards from Los Muertos Beach. The service you get there is good too. I can certainly recommend it for anyone that wants a no-frills hotel from where to explore town. Right around the corner (40 yards total, left and left going out of the hotel) there is a great taco place, ask for 4 tacos al pastor with a Modelo beer and you are in heaven (for no money at all!).
