I read a lot of negative reviews for this resort that made me nervous, but it turned out to be one of my favorite destinations. The beach is nice, no rocks and good sand. The drinks and the food are great. The entertainment at night was cool. You can't beat the location, you can walk to any store you need so if you don't want to check a bag but still need over 3oz of liquid you can buy it cheap outside the resort. The rooms are old but incredibly clean, they're comfortable. I played volleyball and water polo every day, the staff does a great job organizing activities. The pools were nice, you can utilize the kids area restaurants and facilities. I plan on going back, my expectations were exceeded and all around it was an awesome vacation.

Stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff is AMAZING, so friendly and helpful. Drinks are good. Only complaint is the pool not being open long enough (9 pm close even on the adult side), as well as the buffet food being hit or miss. The restaurants have delicious food. Cleaning and water service was great. Lots of cabanas on the beach to choose from, and great location. As a younger group of travellers, this place really exceeded our expectations! We just got home and we have had an amazing stay with this resort. Though if you are someone who is used to staying at dreams or secrets or equivalent too you may not find this resort to be as great for you. The staff works very hard to keep you entertained Jose does an amazing job at the poolside with the drinks. Rooms were very clean the hotel main lobby and areas were kept clean With people cleaning and updating things constantly around the resort. Very satisfied with the amount of restaurants to choose from I believe there are 7 plus your buffets a lot of buffet and restaurants available on the clubside which you have access to and that is great. We had such a great time there we had already booked for Christmas before landing back home Can't wait to see all my Crown family in December

We stayed at crown paradise club. Staff is very kind and it is an excellent place for kids. The best is the kids pool and the night shows. The hotel is a little bit old with some mould in curtains, wall and bed, but not to bad. Elevators are very old and sometimes it is broken with people inside. The very bad point is the food, always the same and the special restaurants is always limited to 5% of the people. Of course it is not due to covid because the main restaurant is always crowded. I am not sure the reason why these “Italian, Asian and French restaurant” are always almost empty. It is really impossible to get a reservation at any restaurant and they are always empty. They offer this service but they only work at 5% of their capacity. In conclusion it is excellent for kids but with these limitations. The beach is nice and clean.

We stayed here for one week and had the most relaxing, wonderful time. The over all experience was wonderful and quite memorable. I absolutely enjoyed staying here at Crown Paradise Golden. The resort was beachfront, rooms are newly renovated and very clean, the food is great esp all the dine in restaurants and the service is excellent. Staff were very friendly, hard working and really made us feel comfortable and welcomed our entire stay, bartenders were great, entertainment was superb. Highly recommend this resort to anyone who would like to experience a grand vacation in Puerto Vallarta. I will certainly come back!

My husband and I just returned from a 5 day stay at the Golden. We loved that it was adults only, since we traveled without our kids. From the moment we arrived everyone was great to us. Our flight arrived early, but when we arrived at hotel, we were given our bracelets so we could have access to the facilities and were told to return after 3:00pm to pick up the keys to our room. We loved the view from our Ocean Front room. Downside every now and then, there was a funky smell from the A/C. The breakfast food was not good. It was cold. Fortunately for us, on the second morning we were told by other guest that that food at the Club side was much better. We went there and indeed the selection was much better and much bigger buffet so for the remainder of our stay we'd go there for breakfast. The waiters were hit and miss. Some would completely ignore us and wouldn't come to us, but seems to cater to all the (white) American people. Guess what? We are Americans too but Mexicans. Margarito at the Bar in the Beach was AWESOME!!! He would bring our refills before we even asked for them. And the sushi in the evening was BOMB!!! We enjoyed the shows at Club Nitro. Another disappointment was the mini bar in the room. All that was stocked in it was 2 waters, two soda cans and 2 beer cans. The first day we arrived, my husband had to ask housekeeping because there was not beer in the fridge. Then, when it got filled the guy told us he wasn't allowed to put more than two beers. Bummer. Either way, we did enjoy our stay and would definitely return. It was a very affordable All Inclusive Hotel (We were traveling on a budget). We also loved that there was no overcrowding at the beach.

A really great resort!! Lots of food options and the thing that I liked most was the friendly workers/waiters/staff! The beach view was also really great with a big pool and a fairly big hot tub! Drinks were served cold and delicious!! I’m the evenings you can enjoy a show in the nitro club also a plus! Would definitely recommend going here!!
