Great place, beautiful atmosphere. Upon arriving I had a problem with the front desk. The person overcharged me for their resort fee and they wanted to charge me again. On the final day, I allowed them to run my card again. I will just dispute the other charge once my charges settle.
During my stay Thursday through Sunday the cable did not work in the entire complex. There was no credit for the inconvenience. Lastly, if you buy the breakfast voucher, be careful, if you don't order their meals, you'll be charged for anything that's a meal not on the menu (a la cart). Luckily, they fixed our bill, but it was a hassle.
Other than that, this was my second stay. It's a great hotel. I enjoyed myself and the food was good. In April the beach is cold, but they have heated pools.
Enjoy your time. Assess your charges.

Beautiful, safe and clean resort. Two restaurants on site have very limited menu, would definitely recommend just cooking in the room or going into town to eat. Drinks at pool bar are hit or miss and cheap but convenient. However, beach access was perfect and entire staff was very kind. Store on site sold floats for the lazy river and misc items. Overall resort is very nice. Remember to tip and be kind, don’t be an arrogant self entitled American ????

When we checked in at 5:30 pm the front desk checked with housekeeping to make sure our room was ready. They said they were just finishing up the kitchen. When we got there, it was disgusting! Trash outside the room trash inside, crumbs everywhere. Basically they only made the beds. It took them until after 8 to get our room ready for us, with no compensation! Very frustrating! Once we were able to get our room clean, we had no more issues! The restaurant was great! Views were incredible, pool bar was awesome, waiters/waitresses around pool area were very friendly! They even added an accessible path to the beach so my husband (wheelchair bound) and I were able to get down to the beach area!

Rooms were immaculate, great facilities and beach access. Small, well-outfitted resort gym. Felt secure and clean. Only complaint – resort restaurants were hit-or-miss. The poolside bar was great, however, and beach vendors also sell drinks and food. Great for a short stay and longer retreat both.

We stayed at a 2 bedroom amazing condo in Phase II in Sept for Labor Day and the condo and views were speechless! The balcony had a view of the amazing pools, lazy river, and of course the beautiful beach! The condos are beautiful and very comfortable with everything you need for a home away from home. We made our own breakfast each morning, brought pancakes and bagels, eggs. Lunch and dinner we were eating out either at the restaurant in the hotel or in the local boardwalk in the city. Overall, I would stay here again because of the kid friendly pools and lazy river. Excellent location!

Excellent resort with excellent location, steps to the beach, extremely clean u0026 comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. Everyone at the resort made our trip more enjoyable.
Would definitely recommend this reset to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. A very special thank you to
** Claudio, Marco , Ulises, and Edwin, they’re the activity staff members. They’re absolutely beautiful, warm, charismatic friendly people. Every morning we did the Zumba, aerobics classes and the piñata party for the kiddos in the afternoons. They were so much fun!
Citron restaurant- they serve the best tomahawk steak. A special shout out to both Angel (both waiters are named the same), again, best customer service in the industry.
We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you Las Palomas Resort Management team- you’ve outdone yourselves - somehow you’ve managed to hired all of the best and friendliest staff members. Thank you again.

The only drawbacks that you have to drive to other areas. Like restaurants, pharmacy, there are no other places to est except the 2 modern Mexican restaurants on the resort. If you forgot anything there is a small store but everything is so expensive. Service was above par. Excellent and good drinks...pricey as compared to other resorts. Our roo. Was beautiful but one master window rattled all night with the winds so we had to sleep with the patio door open and blowing. Fridge wasn't cold enough but maintained fixed it quickly.
