Perfect place to have a coffee, some breakfast or lunch, bring your laptop and work from there. Upstairs there’s a library if you want some quiet time! Great place

Phenomenal breakfast spot! Cozy, good coffee, great food. Came here three times during my trip. Open relatively early compared to everywhere else too.

It's a great place to spend your whole afternoon reading and feeling you are at a french cafe instead. Lots of people that visit have this vibe and it is honestly so relaxing! You can work there if you are in need of a coffee shop type of environment, besides there is great music playing and the background noise is at the perfect level to let you focus and still capture the mind that wanders in search of a sound to catch on.
Recommend it a lot. It is not that pricey to spend a lot of time there and enjoy perhaps a book presentation. They have a letterboard at the entrance that allows you to know a lot of events happening at the surroundings or inside the place.

mid size book store with the modern rustic aesthetic, beautiful but same all over the world. i want to tell you about the cafe! we came here for breakfast. the blue corn pancake with pineapple and a side of bacon is fantastic!! the coffee is excellent too. went back the next day for fruit and yogurt plate. simple and delicious. it's perfect when you had too many chilaquiles in a row. haha

The only good thing about this place is how it looks. The food was average, the service atrocious, they should change the name from Profética to Patético. Much better places in town, don’t waste your time or money here.
Our server was very aloof and seemed bothered by every question or request we made, the server was nowhere to be seen for quite some time, causing us to have to go and search for someone, we arrived a couple of minutes past 1 and couldn’t get breakfast even though the restaurant was practically empty. I ordered chalupas and two of them didn’t even have any meat on them, the others had very very little meat. A torta we ordered was only lukewarm and the bread seemed a few days old. We have eaten some really excellent food in Puebla and this just falls far far below the quality of other places in town.

I've been and been given a VIP tour by the owner and I can tell you that this place is awesome.
His family home, back generations, was converted to this gem.
Be advised, no reading material is available, as of the date of this writing, in English. That may be forthcoming.
Great food in the courtyard restaurant and BIG cups of coffee, and super fresh fruit.
Excellent service, pride in product, rich history, this place has it all.
