This is definitely a park that would avoid due to security reasons. It's pretty close to the historical center of the city, but this is not a tourist area. The overall look of the park is pretty much the standard for this part of the city.

It's a nice place to rest in the middle of the day. In the night you can find Mexican street food. It's a special place in the city, because is que only place that you can find two churches: Sta Ines and San Felipe Neri or La Concordia. Near of the place are Mariachis office.

Anyone in that area should try the local bakery of Panaderia La Princesa. Really nice range of bakery
