Excellent location. It what great hotels looked like 50-100 years ago.
Although the hotel is in a busy area 2 blocks from the Zocalo, I thought the rooms were quiet. It had new windows which really cut down on outside noise.
The rooms are functional and are not fancy at all. Small TV. Room safe.
Bathroom was very basic and there is a lot of room for improvement here. We didn't have hot water! The tub is old and it shows and must be impossible to make it appear clean.
Restaurant was good.

If you want plush marble interiors this is not your place. If you want a really evocative sense of history this is unmatched in all my travelling experience bar Borthwick Castle Beautiful old interior, o er 300 years old and right in the middle of one of the worlds most beautiful historical areas.

Very nice hotel, staff, and courtyard however the restaurant serves food on the courtyard (and our cappuccinos) in cheap plastic cups and plates. My cheap plastic cup looked dirty and the cappuccino tasted horrendous. But the location is nice ????. If they learn how to make a coffee they could bring in so much more money.

The windows do nothing to protect from the outside, I was freezing all night! Zero sound isolation: I can hear everything on the street, in the corridor and in the next room over. Toilet is super uncomfortable too. WiFi does not work in the room.

There is one elevator, available only if you ask the staff. Accessibility what?

Pros: location, decent breakfast I guess.

Very good hotel. The food was good, the staff were friendly and professional and extremely convenient location right near the Zocalo. The Mexican charm of the hotel was very interesting as well! The only issue was with the WiFi which was subpar. And not to much variety of food to choose from either. But overall, the hotel was very nice.

This is a very nice hotel in what used to be an old convent in the center of Puebla. The building is beautiful and has a lovely terrace with some pretty amazing views of the Puebla cathedral, specially in the night.
The rooms are old although clean and with some really nice high ceilings. They could do with some re-painting but they look good nevertheless.
Another of the perks of this hotel is that it has a laundry room where you can wash your own clothes after buying some tokens at the reception (be careful with what you pay, since our receptionist kept some tip for himself without asking us first...)
The hotel is in a great area, very close to a pedestrianised street full of colorful terraces, and also close to the main zocalo of the town.
