Crowne Plaza Puebla, an IHG Hotel

My experience with this hotel was great. Went there with my wife and 6 years old . The staff member where super friendly and very nice . The hotel itself is corporate type. There are areas to work and meeting rooms . The restaurant in the hotel have delicious and unique food .
The pool water is always clean and hot. There is also gym and spa to work out and relax. I definitely will recommend this place to any one who is going to Puebla for pleasure or business.

Only some minor issues, but first the good news. The hotel was very clean in all areas, has a nice small bar and the restaurant had good food, good english, but slightly slow on the service. The not so good was no shampoo nor hot shower water (fixed for Day 2!), no regular coffee on Day 2, and a very unpleasant odor on floor 5. Breakfast buffet with an egg stand was better than average.

My family and I stayed at this property on a recent visit to Puebla, and we could not have been happier with our experience. The property was in excellent condition: clean, modern, comfortable. What made our experience exponentially more enjoyable was the level of service we received from the management, front desk, and bell staff. 5 star service.
In cities like Puebla, historical hotels have lots of charm, but often lack the amenities of newer properties, this modern hotel allowed us all the comforts and just a short cab ride away from the historical center of town.

Only detail is the shower faucet takes long to have warm water and the door opens in a way you can't do anything else but either wet the whole floor before water temperature is fine or you get inside the shower and get frozen by cold water at first. The door should open the other way in order to be more functional.

Excellent hotel. Excellent people. Very, very trustworthy and clean. They could not be more helpful. If you dont speak spanish, only English, ask for Adrian's Aponte, bell boy. He speaks perfect english and is the nicest person you could meet.

The hotel is clean but the water in the swimming pool was not crystal clear. The ice machine in the corridor wasn't working. The staff was very helpful and polite.

It has nice rooms and an excellent restaurant, the service could be better, the staff makes an extraordinary effort. The issue is that sometimes they are short on staff and that causes trouble.
