Beautiful hotel! Great location in Puebla - close enough to see the sights of the city with many dining options nearby within walking distance. We went for a group event - staff was very accommodating. The roof top bar/pool area is fantastic - great views and a fun place to hang out. Spa services and staff are outstanding - highly recommend booking a spa appointment. Food was excellent - breakfast especially was delightful with a bread basket, fresh fruit, and many different entrée options.

Like many things in Mexico this place is facially very nice however under the surface the service is poor and facilities lack what you would expect from this hotel. We called many times to the front desk in the evening to have someone look at the AC and no one even answered the phone. They didn’t have any towels at the pool and communication overall is disappointing for the price.

We had a great time staying here! Our stay was only 3 nights, as we were just passing through Puebla for our roadtrip through Mexico - but all three nights we felt comfortable and at home! We got a room with a king sized bed, and it was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated.

We chose this hotel because it is pet-friendly and we were traveling with our two small dogs. I take away 1 star only because they have a bit of a hefty pet fee ($150 USD), however they did only charge us for 1 dog as the other was a baby.

All in all, it is a great hotel that very well located with only a 10-minute walk to the center where you can find lots of amazing restaurants. We will be back when we return to Puebla!

By far our best hotel Experience in Mexico, and considering that the other ones were superb… this is top quality.
Location is very good
Facilities are excellent
Service level is beyond words.
We will come back for sure.

Absolutely a disaster of a hotel.

I can't believe this is a Banyan Tree property. Our checkin and checkout process took over a half hour. We are Virtuoso clients and the the reservations manager had not marked this in the reservation and since she didn't answer her phone, it took forever to resolve. At checkout, the bill was completely wrong and this also took forever to resolve. The desk looked like a hurricane had hit it - papers everywhere - staff was frazzled and inept. Told us "pretend you don't see this." Couldn't figure out how to bill us for an iced tea from the mini bar because it wasn't on the price list - wasted another 10 minutes at checkout until, totally upset, we finally just handed them a random amount of cash for the iced tea and left. Not an exclusive property at all. Large tour groups are constantly wandering through and taking photos. COULD NOT USE ROOFTOP, POOL OR GARDEN BECAUSE OF WEDDING AND EVENTS. All the hotel wants to do is make as much cash cash as possible without regards to providing service. Keep in mind they are attached to another venue across the street - it seems like weddings are their cash cow. Restaurant takes forever to serve food. If you want exclusivity, stay at the Cartesiano instead. No apologies ever issued for the problems. We had a super stressful time, this hotel ruined our time in Puebla.

Went there for a "take over" from the place I work for, they treated us like regular guests and that's a plus for me. Great service, comfy cushions, amazing food and drinks, hope to visit any time soon.

Beautiful hotel, great rooms, every outlet is designed perfectly. The food was amazing, the attention to detail was spot on!
