Pulling up, it seems this restaurant is out of place, as if it's the place in the Great Gatsby between the Hamptons and the city, because nothing nearby says that this would be a location for a nice restaurant but, somehow it has managed to be this gem of a place with a crude outside/poor looking entrance but a very well to do feeling interior.
It is between where locals that live outside of town live and the highway...unlike the beach vibes you get from places on the beach side of the highway. It provides an attentive service staff. Something that you'd expect downtown and they'll have 2 people ask your order to make sure you are receiving the service you need especially when the place gets busy after 8pm. You come for the live music. The food and wine is quite good! The place has quality talent and musicianship...But why not more stars? For one:
I gave 3 because acoustical advantages were not used. I only heard one speaker at the front and that sounded limited for the space to provide. There was a ceiling speaker not being used and I thought it strange.
And 2: the entrance door - made me wonder if it was connected to the rest of the place.
Other than this, I highly recommend it. It is highly inviting without being in your face.
