This place is great! A hotel with everything you need: kitchenette in the hallway, (big) refrigirator with freezer in the room, clean rooms and bathrooms... There's a small pool in an oasis of calm right in the middle of the city, with comfy chairs, very quiet and private. They even offer towel service at the pool and there's books and games you can borrow. The free wi-fi is absolutely great and very fast compared to other places in Playa. You can park there safely and privately as well if you like. The place was very quiet and the owners very friendly and personal. They greeted is with pleasure even before our check-in time and helped us out a lot. They leave you to yourself a lot and only come in to clean after getting your permission.

Originally booked for 5 weeks, now extending another 2.5 weeks. The staff u0026 owners here are kind, attentive and wonderful. They've made it easy u0026 enjoyable to stay. The location is great if you like to be in a more local area but easy walking distance to everything Playa offers.
This is a great place for digital nomads (great internet) u0026 seasoned travelers. Looking forward to spending a few more weeks here.

I’ve stayed here every time I come to playa, price is great and the staff becomes like family. They are attentive and kind, this property is the perfect place to stay on vacation close to the beach and walkable distance from many attractions

Small family-owned boutique hotel with safe free parking inside gate. In fact, entire hotel very safe and cozy tucked inside tall opaque, locked gates. It's calm and quiet inside despite the bustling city outside. Room was very clean, excellent AC, comfy king bed, tons of free water and snacks, walkable to beach and all of downtown Playa del Carmen. We enjoyed sitting out by the little pool and using the free bicycles and beach towels. Owners even made us real espresso u0026 cappuccino free of charge! If you're looking for a high end resort, this is probably not your place. But if you like a good price, great vibe, big clean room, and excellent staff in a good location, we highly recommend Suites Fenicia.

I spent a couple weekends here this summer and LOVED my experience. The owners live in one of the suites and will drop anything to help. I forgot to print tickets to the zipline place I was going to before my trip and Laura (one of the owners) let me email it to her and printed it off for me. She also gave me and my group vouchers to redeem free prizes at XPLOR. Laura and her husband constantly bent over backwards for me and my group. I have never had better hospitality than when I stayed at Suites Fenicia. I consider Laura a dear friend and hope to return and visit her in the future! The location is also within walking distance to the beach and 5th Avenue (famous souvenir street with amazing restaurants). The suites are all decorated authentically and the A/C is super refreshing. The little pool outside is really clean and a great temperature. But the view from the roof was my favorite part! You can see the whole city and enjoy the sunrise/sunset from the comfy day beds. I will definitely be staying at Suites Fenicia when I return to Playa del Carmen. :)

Great service, led by a very nice couple. Our stay was excellent, right next to the beach, very convenient. We really recommend this hotel, you wont be disappointed.
