Very misleading. These pictures are current. Sky bar isn’t open and looks like it hasn’t been in months. Dust and dirt everywhere up there. They also conveniently don’t show you the giant building going up that makes for an awful view. Room is clean but missing many of the amenities in the pictures. The bed has a single pillow for each person. I would skip this place and go to Be Playa down the block or Fiesta Inn both look lovely and we’ll kept unlike this place.

This place is one of the worst hotel I have ever been at!
First of all, the temperature of the water in the shower was not good at all . Most of the time we had to shower under freezing water .
The bar at the pool wasn’t working at any time of the day , and the pool itself wasn’t so clean .
To add the fact that the elevator wasn’t working well, and the breakfast (if we can even call it a breakfest) was just a bread with some spread ( we hadn’t eat this breakfast at any day ) .
Except of the workers that were nice , and the room cleaning , nothing was worth visiting this hotel .
We were in hostel before we came here and even the hostel was a lot better.

Rooms nice and clean but breakfast was not worth it firt a slice of toast and a small coffee also and the main disappointment was we can’t use the balcony or roof top there is a construction in front and the workers keep looking at the rooms also and very important the bar in the roof top is not open look like an abandoned place, not fridge or coffe maker in the rooms

We enjoyed our one night stay in Playa del Carmen and we were glad to have chosen this place. Our room was spacious, very clean and had modern furnishings. We booked our room to include a free breakfast (from the healthy cafe/shop next door) but it wasn't worth what we paid; small cup of coffee, 2 pieces of toast and a few small pieces of fruit. However, the hotel has an excellent location - close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and night life. As well, the hot tub on the balcony was amazing and we will definitely come back and book with Soho Playa Hotel again!....minus the free "breakfast."

A 2 or 3-star hotel. A lot of noise from the street. No refrigerator at the room. Small rooms but ok standard. The breakfast was absolutely useless. Small rooftop pool, but cozy. You can't bring any drinks(water)/snacks into the hotel.

Staff is friendly, rooms are always clean, the bar is closed on the top but we did our own rooftop party. The sunset is beautiful from the bar. Parking is free, the Salad bar on the ground level is fantastic! I really recommend this place to couples, friends and those who likes parties and the nightlife
Negative: no minibar, no hammock :(

This hotel has been wonderful all the rooms have been styled well and are beautiful! The king suite deluxe was wonderful I would honestly have rather spent my entire honeymoon there instead of the all inclusive resort I went to.
The other smaller rooms were still amazing and very clean and well maintained. The rooftop swimming pool was well maintained and relaxing. It's a shame they don't seem to have the bar functioning there anymore but I hope they get it up and running again soon.
The staff here we're amazing! My wife and I were doing a lot of exploring and they were all super helpful and friendly when we asked questions or had special requests. I would definitely go here again without question!
