Romeo Trattoria Pizzeria is absolutely to die for!! A must eat at restaurant. Favorite place we have eaten on our vacation through out Mexico! We have gone there three times so far and have never been disappointed.

All the food is hand-made and crafted to create the most tasty dishes you can imagine. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is quaint and cute. The menu is affordable and the wine is scrumptious. There are food menu options for every type of foodie.

The dining experience at Romeos feels as though you are truly in Italy. We will be back!

I recommend trying the gnocchi, ravioli, or one of their delicious-mouthwatering-pizzas.

Every time we come to Cancun area we come to Romeo!
Hands down, best seafood and Italian food! ????

You need to try the 4 cheese gnocchi. It’s SO good! So creamy, not super cheesy at all.
The lasagna is still one of the best lasagnas we’ve ever had. And the seafood platter…. Just wow.

Love it here! The seafood is so fresh and delicious. Make sure to book in advance. Place gets pretty busy!

We had dinner here today. I had Fried mixed plate. Shrimps and squids was very fresh, the sauce on the side was delicious. My husbamd tried 4 cheese qnocchi, which was extremely soft and delicious. We ordered Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, my favorite Italian wine, if you like red wine, don't hesitate to try this one. This wine is from Italy, for me the best. Not acidic, not sweet, perfect dry wine. Service is perfect and very quick, they sereve some vread until you waiting for the main course. Better to book in advance, the restaurant is almost always full.

The authentic Italian restaurant in Playa. If you are visiting Playa Del Carmen for the first time, you will discover that many places are tourist traps… Romeo is not of of them.
This in a great place to go if you are tired of tacos for a night and want to indulge in a real piece of Italian lasagna, pasta or pizza. Ciao!

Pasta was al dente. Sauce was creamy and not too thick. Flavor was well balanced. Simply delicious!

Small, authentic and cozy Italian restaurant . Not fancy, but that’s the charm. Food is super good, and prices are ok for the area (pizzas around 200 mxn) . Waiters are so nice, service is excellent. Definitely recommend if you are looking for the authentic feel!
