I liked the hotel it has great pros: The rooms are clean and spacious we had the loft and we had 2 bathrooms, kitchen and direct access to the pool. The pool terrace was very nice. The most important thing was that the staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great, as people mentioned there is a bar infront but didn't affect our sleep. They offer continental breakfast and we loved their shower products. The property is closed, (you need the key to get in) and we felt safe. We will come back!

The hotel is very good for the price, but there is a major issue.
A bar in front of the hotel put very (very) loud music from 4pm to 2:30am every single day of the week.
Impossible to sleep and apparently they have the authorization from the city to have an open night club (with almost no client) in the middle of the city, and in front of the hotel.
Thankfully, they offered to change our room for the remaining nights, and we were upgraded to a better room further from the sound with a slightly better sound proof bedroom.
I hope they found a solution in the future with this bar, otherwise it’s better to not stay in this hotel…

The worst place I ever slept in!

It looks nice in the pictures, but don't be fooled, it's on a night club that operates until 3:30 in the morning with very loud music that sounds like it's in your room because it's loud, at 7 in the morning renovations are already starting in the hotel, you can hear everything easily
If you like to sleep two hours a night, go for it
Otherwise do yourself a favor and find a normal hotel

As so many of the reviews say, the staff were kind and helpful. Regardless of what we asked about, they were ready with a helpful response. The room was very clean and just as beautiful as the photos showed. I was nervous about the music coming from next door because of the other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t disturb our sleep. Not that it was quiet, but it didn’t cause an issue. If you’re nervous, pack some melatonin.

Clean hotel, a little damp as some reviews mention. Nice soap and shampoo, okay bed. We were placed on the first floor and rooms overlook courtyard/lobby so couldn’t open our windows and the room was dark. Not the hotel’s fault, but there is a nightclub right across the street that played very loud music until 2am. Despite the room being quite sound, the music made it too loud to sleep even with white noise playing off my phone. Only stay here if you want to stay up late!

This hotel is a very cute and pretty boutique hotel. It‘s a 5 min walk from the 5 avenida with loads of restaurants, bars, clubs, cafés, shops, etc and a 10 min walk from the beach with fine white sand and turquoise waters.
For check in we got two beer for free and the staff was always very friendly and helpful.
The hotel itself has a (tiny) roof top pool and is gated with a security guard at night time, which made us feel safe.
The apartment we had had a fully equipped kitchen, sofa, very big bed, tv with netflix, hbo and co, two ACs, fans, very good and fast wifi and toilet / shower with open glass walls (located in the bedroom , so beware of less privacy with your partner :-))).
We didn‘t use the included breakfast to be honest, since it only consisted of toast, butter, croissant and a few sweet jams, without any variety of cheeses, breads or salami. This would be a minus, if there weren‘t all these cafés and restaurants around.
The main problem instead was the very loud music from the onyx bar right in front of the hotel - they play music every single night until at least 2 am. Also on weekdays.
Yesterday it was heavy metal which was really annoying all night.
Our room was on the very back end of the hotel and the music was still audible in our bedroom really clearly, which made it hard to fall asleep. We also whitnessed another guest with a bedroom in the front end closer to the bar, checking out earlier because he couldn‘t bear it anymore with his kids.
So all in all this is a nice hotel with great cleaning and service if you want to explore playa del carmen and co. I would not recommend it to families with small children or people who like to go to sleep early tho

Okay this happens to be my wife and I, most favorite boutique in the whole Playa del Carmen area. We found ourselves enjoying not only the rooms that were comfortable, spacious, clean and everything just happened to be in the right spot. We enjoyed the pool facility on the rooftop, the Zen garden and the European breakfast that was offered was just right. Above all the staff was friendly and helpful, you can tell they enjoyed your presence as a guest and they shared so many good things to do in Playa other Carmen and that Yucatan area. We got to enjoy a couple good restaurants that they recommended. Also enjoyed a couple of the local areas that weren't busy, they were more locals than anything else. If you ever have a chance to visit Playa del Carmen we truly recommend Quinta Margarita Boho hotel as one of the best little hidden secrets in that area. Thank you guys for such an amazing experience.
