I’ve asked our cab driver to take us to a local shopping mall where normal people go. It’s exactly what I asked for. We loved it, they have everything you may need, you can buy souvenirs, clothes, dulces. Me ha encantado!

Small shopping center, no aircon sometimes (which you might be looking for to escape the heat, so keep in mind that it might not be working today…).
The closest cinema to Playa. It’s okay and affordable, some options to eat as well. Overall, nice place to kill some time when it’s heavily raining and cant go anywhere else while on holidays here.

Wonderful mall with Sears Krispy Kreme Donuts and many restaurants and stores. The Sears here is more like our Macy's back home. It is 1 today and stores just starting to open . Doing our thing Christmas movie

Here you may spend some time shopping or watching a movie even there are some places to eat, I mostly come to las Americas to buy whey and groceries.

Great shopping mall to visit when you Are down. Note the local rates from most of playa is 50 pesos... they will try to charge you more but just walk to the next taxi if they don’t budge on the price.

Good mall in Playa del Carmen, it has a lot of stores and restaurants.
It is not in the tourist area, this is more for the local people.

Great shopping center, best churros I've had in Mexico yet! ????. Plenty of stores, many American food chains restaurants. I had a great time shopping around. They even had a Krispy Kream! Wow how exciting.
