I recently stayed at Hotel Lunata for a few days last week and had a great experience. The room was clean and had amazing a/c which was nice on a hot day. I loved the chair swing on the patio. Make sure you check out the roof with a view of the ocean and take time to admire the art throughout the property. I really liked that this hotel is located right on 5th Ave but the room was not noisy at night. It’s also very close to the beach!! The staff was nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel embraces the beauty of Mexico. It’s in a perfect spot to walk to anything you need in the bustling tourist area, but as soon as you step foot into the hotel it’s a calm and peaceful reprieve. I’ve cold water refill station, complimentary (continental) breakfast and excellent customer service and Wi-Fi signal. Here’s a view of one of the gorgeous sunsets I was grateful to witness from my balcony.

Beautiful hotel, , my husband and I had the pleasure to enjoy two nights at this lovely hotel. .Our room was facing 5th Ave which we were expecting it to be a very noisy 2 nights. But quite the opposite, it was very quiet because of the double windows. .The room was perfect ,the garden was such a pleasure after the hustle and bustle of the very busy 5th Ave especially at night ..Everything was 1st class but I do regent to say we were very disappointed with the breakfast. You do not really expect a Hostel type. . (Serve yourself breakfast ) which only conisted of coffee, cornflakes and toast. .For the price there should have been at least a cooked breakfast. .But apart from that we did enjoy our short stay at this lovely hotel. .

Great hotel! I love the asienda look. The rooms were great and the customer service was excellent. I would definitely visit again. Best location since is in 5th Ave strip. The only downside is that there is no pool but it wasn't a big deal if you are going to be out and about.

Hotel Lunata is a gem on Playa del Carmen’s 5th Avenue. Centrally located, reasonably priced, wonderfully decorated, big rooms, clean, furnished with top of the line toiletries, 24/7 front desk access, best staff in all of Playa… you can walk to all the best restaurants and entertainment venues, 4 blocks away to the ferry to Cozumel and transport station… I will choose Hotel Lunata every time I travel to the Mexican Riviera… 5 Diamond Rated

Most of all because of the great customer service from ALL of the staff! The hotel is cozy, very clean, well maintained, organized, and feels like home! If you are waiting to stay at a very neat place in 5th Avenida, this is it! Restaurants all over, close the beach, ferries to Cozumel, easy access to many activities, bars, shopping. Michelle, Fabiola and Ivan at the front desk always have a smile and are ready to take care of you right away. De todo corazon muchas gracias a todos en el Hotel Lunata.

Charming hotel with friendly staff, right in the heart of Playa del Carmen. Nice room and cold ac. On main shopping street and two minute walk to the beach. Loved it!
