Great social atmosphere, perfect to get to meet people. Breakfast is small but included, and includes some heathly fruits.
Security is also good, since the gate gets locked at night (and opened by the person doing the night shift), and there are lockers.

One private double room costs 400 pesos. In the dorms the price is 140 pesos each person. Very less water coming in the bathroom areas. Bathrooms were very dirty. No shadow at all in the terrace. No alcohol allowed. In the night it was very loud. The guys who were working there were cooking in the middle of the night. Shouting, loud music. At least there is a small breakfast included. We went after to a 4 star hotel in playa and paid 432 pesos with pool in the terrace and huge rooms.

Not a good hostel. Kind of dirty and worn. You definitely get what you pay for and the people who run it are stuck up and not helpful at all. Did not like it and I've been in about 15 hostels.

Worst Hostel ever, NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Really needs to be refreshed / modernized and secured.
Noisy (entrance and biggest dorm on the main street), UNSECURE (no lock on the dorm room, everyone can come in) the entrance of the hostel is open all time (sometimes nobody at the reception), SMALL LOCKERS : belongings can be stolen anytime.
OLD, dangerous and NOISY beds in dorms (it's a 14 bed, NOT 12 beds dorm!) I was afraid it would fall each time I got up on mine.. Moves all the time, old mattresses, bad pillows.
OLD, dirty, few bathrooms (only 2 for everyone), with little water pressure (can't wash my hair)
SMALL common area, noisy as it's right on the main street, SMALL kitchen, no hot water to wash the dishes, Breakfast u003dsmall, only coffee, 2 slices of bread and a bit of fruit...
AVOID this hostel!

I mean I know it was cheap, I get the whole you get what you pay for argument but this worked out at like £13 for the night and you get no locks on your door and I'm pretty sure my brother had a nicer bed in prison

They removed my review on TripAdvisor, so here is a TLDR.

An employee (former, I presume), threatened to kill us because we did not want to buy his stolen camera. Also tried to steal from us while we were sleeping but got caught in the act. Stay away from this place.

They refuse to carry my bag to the room or outside during my check out, not nice at all !! Rude all male staff :(
