I felt very comfortable. The hostel was not too crowded so you could always have some space and time for yourself and the staff was always happy to chat, give recommendations, help etc.
The dorms, bathrooms, kitchen and common areas were all clean and in a good condition! AC in the room with comfortable mattresses and pillows.
I was super happy to be welcomed in the volunteer group as they took me partying or showed interest in me!

Excellent experience at Hostel 3B in Playa Del Carmen. I ended up staying for three weeks, after staying with a few other hostels in the area. The excellent staff here makes this place what it is. Helpful in every way. I met some really cool travelers here and found it far more interesting than many of the other hostels in the area. I highly recommend staying here.

Oriana was incredibly helpful when there was an issue with our booking. Couldn’t recommend more. Rooftop is rad. Rooms have AC. Cheap. Give u towels. Would recommend to all backpackers.

Huge scam at the roof top bar!!!!!!
We went yesterday night and they charged us 300 pesos for a shot of tequila!!!! They came up it was Don Julio 70 which I NEVER ASK FOR!,

They just don't care about people, it is just about money and the service with the manager on the rt is just sooooooooo bad. Just don't go their if you don't want to get ripped off!

Amazing environment, very comfortable and the staff is particularly welcoming and nice. When I went to the terrace they had a reunion and they invited me beers and vegan burgers! ♡ I would totally recommend staying here, the hostel is located 2 blocks from the ferry and the beach, also near lots of public services, restaurants and in front of a mall. They have hot water for those cold nights :)

Lots of potential.. The house music that was played by the DJ was great... There was a giant Transformer dancing to the house music. Recommend the burger they grill right there on the rooftop... Place stays open all night (big plus) be careful they draw in the ladies and say it's free to get in, but when upstairs you're actually charged
