The staff is impeccable they make your visit over the top. The seafood pasta is delicious. They always catered to my toddler, he loves them. Vianney the host is amazing, Rene, Angel, Miguel, Alberto went over the top. They were all excellent.

Comfortable and nice restaurant for everything food. Really good on meat selection and proper preparation. Local rib-eye was almost perfect (added some salt eventually;)) Quick and responsive service. Cocktails might be improved though, and a bit strange set of desserts. Nevertheless give a try to a place, you won’t regret.

The service is great and the food is very authentic and fresh. During our stay at Mahekal, we ate here 3 times and enjoyed every experience. Fresh guacamole by the pool with Mexican music in the background... 5 stars!

Chef Naray has some fun and creative dishes. I ate several meals here during my stay. The "Huevo Cato" for breakfast (and avocado topped with an egg and some sauce was great. The omelettes are delicious. Fruit plate is refreshing. The arrachera was tender and flavorful for dinner. Shrimp tacos overflowing with shrimp. All the wood fired pizzas I had was delicious. Nice wine selections too and a well stocked full bar. I wanted a caesar salad one night that wasnt on the menu...and it came and was beautiful and tasted fresh and perfect.

This is a gem of a place.

It's part of the Mahekal resort which if you walk through their grounds are so gorgeous. The grounds are kept beautifully.

We ordered pina colada which doesn't seem like much but it was exceptionally done.

We also ordered guacamole and fuego ceviche. It came out with a complimentary ham dip with toast and chips.

Some of the best meals I had when visiting Mexico were right here at the Fuego restaurant which is in the resort we stayed at. Service was top notch and the food was pretty amazing. It can be a bit pricey but most of the meals we had here were well worth it. Some of the tables are set right along the restaurant edge which has a clear view of the ocean so you can eat a nice breakfast the sun rising for a view.
